I went Into a club bar, underground, I needed a drink. The music was loud and the sound of cheers was rigorously what I needed to inundate myself in my sorrows. That way no one would pay attention to me crying and they'd be so engaged in focusing on themselves.
I ordered the adequate drink they had, the strongest liquor, at least if I couldn't get Into an accident, I'd try drinking to death. I had a strong tolerance for liquor, so I didn't know how long it would take to get drunk.
I started drinking, I couldn't believe how fast things took a toll on me, I went to the agency all energetic and proud, but in less than six hours, I returned dim and dull. Everything had taken a drastic turn on me.
"Lieman you castrated dog!" I suddenly yelled, earning the attention of people around me, who looked at me as if I was crazy until there was a spark of recognition.
"Isn't she the one from the news,"
"Yeah, the one who seduced her boss,"
"No way, what a shameless bitch, tsk tsk,"
I couldn't take their murmurings anymore, so I stood up, staggering a little. "if y'all have anything to say, why don't you say it to my face, argh!" I exclaimed, propelling the bottle of liquor off the counter, causing it to shatter to pieces. Yep, I was drunk.
The girls who were previously gossiping scurried away like rats, but they've already ruined my mood.
"Miss, I'm sorry but your card has been declined," The bartender said.
"What?" I asked.
"Your card was reported stolen so it has been blocked," The bartender said again and I scoffed, knowing exactly who was behind it.
I ran my fingers through my hair and bit my lower lip, I opened my purse and took out some cash, thankfully, I had some cash so I paid and left the underground club bar.
I staggered, feeling the ground sway under me, I was drunk as fuck. I stood still, like an insane person, pausing for the ground to reset, and then l would walk and halt again when I felt the ground sway under me.
It was dark and I was a drunk girl out by herself in a spacious driveway. Of course, something bad was bound to happen. I froze when three huge men, who also seemed drunk stopped in front of me.
"What's a pretty lady like you doing all by yourself here?" One of them asked, stepping closer, the stench of liquor mixed with bad breath filling the air.
"She looks so familiar," The other said with creased brows as he pointed at me, shaking his head, probably to remember where he knew me from. And I could already guess it was from the news.
"Come with us, we'll all have a good time," The third one said, staggering up to me.
"Sorry boys, but I'm in no mood to entertain you drunks," I made my way, trying to wiggle my way through them but they grabbed my hand, pulling me back.
"Look who's calling us drunks, you look even more tipsy,"
"Let go of me," I yelled, trying to pull away from their grip but it was no use. I kneed the one holding me firmly on his groin and he groaned, finally releasing me.
"Argh," He groaned, his hands resting on his area.
"You bitch," The other one landed a slap on my face, the impact causing me to fall flat on the ground, blood emanating out of the corner of my lips.
"Grab her purse," The third one said and they forcefully took my purse, before they could leave, he grabbed me by my hair while I winced in pain.
"Never refuse kind gestures from kind men," He whispered and then pushed my head down, I hit my head on the floor and blood came out from the cut on my head.
They walked away laughing like the cowards that they were. I stood up, and without wasting a moment I walked forward, anywhere my legs could carry me and for some reason, it seemed the slap I obtained cleared my eyes a little.
I wandered on the side of the road, and the cloud turned darker, covering the moon as rain poured, I removed my leather jacket, dropping it on the floor as I climbed on the guardrail on the bridge.
As the rain poured down and the moon disappeared behind dark clouds, I found myself standing on the edge of a bridge, feeling the pull of the river below. With a heavy heart, I decided to jump, seeking an end to my suffering. As I plunged into the cold, dark water, memories of my past flooded my mind, and I succumbed to the abyss.
When I opened my eyes, I was met with a surreal sight. A figure, identical to me and dressed in the same white attire, stood before me. But this figure had striking silver hair, eyes that gleamed like precious metal, and lashes to match. As our fingers touched, a blinding light enveloped us, and I was consumed by a sense of overwhelming transformation.
Upon awakening, I found myself in a dimly lit, ancient-looking room that exuded opulence and elegance. The walls were adorned with intricate tapestries depicting epic battles and mythical creatures, while the floor was covered in plush, colorful rugs. Sparkling chandeliers adorned the ceiling, casting a soft glow over the ornate furniture and grand canopy bed draped in luxurious fabrics and golden accents. I looked around at the strange room I was in, it was dimly lit and it looked somewhat ancient.
The more I looked around, the more I noticed that the room I was in was a vision of
Opulence and elegance. The walls are adorned with intricate tapestries depicting epic battles and mythical creatures.
The floor is covered in plush, colorful rugs, and the ceiling is adorned with sparkling chandeliers. The room is filled with ornate furniture, including a grand canopy bed draped in luxurious fabrics and adorned with golden accents.
A large vanity table is adorned with gilded mirrors and adorned with precious jewels and perfumes. The room is also filled with exotic plants and flowers, creating a lush and vibrant atmosphere.
Delicate jewelry and intricately crafted trinkets are displayed throughout the room, adding to the sense of wonder and enchantment and creating a breathtaking display of wealth, beauty, and luxury, fit for a royal figure from a bygone era.
"Where the hell am I?" I asked myself, my voice coming out hoarse and exhausted.
As I struggled to stand, I caught sight of my reflection in a nearby mirror. To my shock, I saw a version of myself with silver locks, lashes, and pupils, and skin as pale as death itself. The realization hit me like a thunderclap, and I let out a piercing scream that echoed through the lavish chamber.
