Longwang was about to teach the other races a lesson.
It was obvious that he couldn't take on all the other races at one, but he could at least solo their leaders.
"Come on, I dare you Try and....."
...
My reminiscing was interrupted by a woman.
I swore I was going to kill whoever was behind that door.
No respect for a king like me?
As she walked in, I could feel my heart beating, her beauty was unlike any I had ever seen, and my anger seemed to melt like ice on a sunny day.
It was that of innocence and purity.
The untouched innocence of a child before the corruption of adulthood, her soul was indeed pure.
Even though I knew who I was before Hilderia, the details were taken from my mind.
The cursed curse that I have tried to break for billions of years to no avail.
"I am so so sorry for your loss."
This beautiful goddess in a human body stared at me genuinely in tears. "I know what it's like to lose loved ones," she said in a shaky voice. "My whole clan got wiped out by the king of the Night... what did we ever do to get such hatred from him".
I started crying as well.
Wait what is this?
What, my body is not listening to me?
What the actual crap?
The tears I was experiencing at the moment started to increase.
I had one question in my mind 'Who is this young lady?'
I was powerless, I thought I had mastery over my biological makeup, but this just showed me how wrong I was.
No, it's not like I lost, it's more like she was emanating some energy that made me susceptible to her feelings.
I had to be the one to get up and hug her the one to console her, and the one to be there for her so I could act like a genuine pure child like her.
"How do you know it was the king of the Night that wiped your clan?"
"I know for a fact that 'It' was the one because my king told Talan of the tragedy at Willow Peak ten years ago. Before we had powers".
I stopped listening when she referred to me as an 'It." Her charms faded; I was about to sink my growing fangs into this little girl's collar.
Wait she was a little girl, I had never killed or even touched children.
I had always heard the rumors of how my name was changed from the majestic glory it once had among the humans.
"They say that there was blood at the Willow Forest, and if your parents were missing for that long there was no chance of their survival. So, they decided to officially close the case."
I looked at her and opened up my tear canal, personally this time letting the tears flow out unnaturally.
"You will live with us in the Talen Home for the Wanting, It's good there. I'm sure your parents would be glad wherever they are that you are in good hands."
It took me a while to analyze the situation that I was currently in, thinking about it we Origins never really had parents we just were what we were.
Beings without an origin hence the name,
"Oh, you're not a talker type huh?"
I shook my head.
I was always aware of my capability to be all because even in this state I had all I had; the power, intelligence, and of course the ridiculous curse I sought to break free from.
"I know you're standing," she took her time to examine my tiny body, "but can you walk now we want to have a welcoming for you."
"No, we may proceed onwards."
At the sound of my voice, her heartbeat had a loud 'Thump' before it went back to normal.
She motioned for me to step out the door, and I did so gracefully. We went out the door and I saw the white hall that once used to enter the room I was admitted into.
The young girl looked ecstatic to meet this lady.
Taking a bow she said, "Good day lady Cherry, how have you been?"
"Oh, I'm good dear, how's the home been treating ya?"
"Oh, it's been good, and did you know that they made a medal for the best behaved this month?"
"I heard about that; I was even planning on coming over to visit you when I was free later today. You are a good girl keep it up, Okay?"
"Okay lady Cherry"
Then she looked at me thoroughly examining me.
"Glad that you are better now," said the lady who sat at the counter, the same one that assigned me to that room.
In all these years I have been in Hilderia I was so used to the natives bowing their heads to me in fear or some sick-found respect, it felt good to be normal for once, but I was still a king who demanded respect naturally.
It was what power could achieve and I was at the pinnacle of such power.
The human child then kept walking until she was out of the structure.
I ignored the lady that the human referred to as Cherry and kept on walking.
I mean how much more ridiculous can the human names get?
I stepped out of the establishment after her I let my power flow.
The voices of every single being on Talen could be heard, I focused harder to find the creature that I remade. I needed to make sure the beasts I created didn't run into a mishap.
They were still on the water, and they had finally powered up to a point where they could speak. They are moving surprisingly fast for low-level Lycans.
I then shifted my attention back to the girl.
Dramatically waving both her hands as if to cover the entirety of this city, she said "Welcome to Talen".
"Come on I gotta show you this food place I always went to...", she then quieted, her mode changing from the light of the room to the darkness of the Night.
Oh, I'm so funny. All I could do was just laugh at my incredible use of puns 'The darkness of the Night.'
Wanting to comfort the girl I spoke.
"Are you alright?'
"No", she said, "They were friends of my parents."
I put my hands over her shoulders and released some of my serotonin into her body. This could only be done by physical contact by only me.
The term universal magnificence really went a long way in describing me, a god in all rights my power was that of destruction, but I could also create and rebalance things even things as abstract as emotions.
That was the true power of an Origin.
"Let's just come back to her at a later date."
It seemed that those friends of her parents reminded her of them.
She looked in my direction and said, "May I get your name please."
"Oh, my name is Uleen.... I meant to say Nelson Vigor."
She hugged me and said, "Nice to meet you Nelson Vigor, my name is Aaliyah... Aaliyah Walters", she let go of me and held my hands".
Together the both of us walked down toward the Home for the Wanting deep in the city of Talen.
