Chapter 3 - Encountering an Angel

Riding his very much old bicycle, Hayden was hoping and praying to make lot of sales today on his deliveries as it was a sure promising morning. He badly needed his salary money to pay for his rent, electricity bills and college tuition fee. For some time now, he'd been peddling alone on the narrow road that led from the country town side to the big city. As he rode his bicycle, he went through the list of orders he's gotten and have to deliver today.

Hayden was a good cook who run an online eatery and food delivery business with his family recipe that he'd learnt from his late mother. He scanned the long list with his right hand holding his gear sorting out the large profiting and much orders.

While looking through his order list, he hadn't noticed that a car was heading his way in speed. When he'd finally seen it coming, it was too late and he hadn't imagine this was how he was going to die. He tried to dodge it by moving to the other side quick out of it's way. But then, he couldn't make it as the car hitted and rushing racing through my back tyre sending me flying and crashing to the hard ground.

Laying on the grounds for some moment, he was shocked and surprised as his heart pounded rather than normal. He removed his bicycle from in between his legs then he stood up dusting himself and lifted it off from the grounds. He was glad being grateful that he didn't have any much serious injuries and hardly believed that he'd missed a fatal accident by an hair length. Sadly all that got spiolt on the bicycle was the pedals, one of them had got broken and his back tyre had gotten flattened as it became lessened.

Although, that didn't bother or disturb him much what did was what he carried. The only thing that'd mattered was if the foods meant to be delivered survived the crash but when I'd opened the bicycle wooden picnic-like basket where I'd kept all the foods which I intended to deliver the sight that greeted me weren't so welcoming or appeasing to the eye. All the food had completely poured and where all messed up due to the hard thud of a fall. They'd all poured out of the limousine lid's of their containers.

In happily, he sighed and had a really sad expression on his face.

'Of all days, why did these just have to happen today when I'm in badly in need of money? How would I deliver the food now that they'd all poured? And there was no use or hope in saving it? The patronizing customers won't ever accept them messsed up like this and would all want a refund of their money' He thought inwardly to himself while checking for any content that'd closely survived in the basket.

Realizing that, the whole food had totally poured messily on each other mixing their different self he figured there was just no point in checking it. Glancing at the quietly parked and stiffened like car before him, he felt anger surging and coursing through him. Balling both his already turned hard fist, he tried hard to suppress it a little. 'Rich People' and their act of carelessness sometime really infuriated him.

They always do whatever they so wanted without caring about the effects it would've much on others. They acted and behaved like they owned the whole damn world or it was just theirs for ruling as they'd the money. One way or another, they'd mostly like seem to upset and make me mad further. Today, he wasn't going to be taking it lightly with them as they've gone a whole lot far this very time. This was his late mother's bicycle the only thing he'd left in his entire life remaining of her and also the business he was doing to survive each day in the passing hard world.

To him, the two were both highly and extremely important but this careless and reckless driver had angered him and pretty much ruin his once great day. After checking out the state of his bicycle finish, he stood up with rage and seething with a lot anger then he stormed over to the car. Along the way, he exuded a don't-mess-with-me kind of vibe and aura. Standing by the drivers window seat side, he couldn't see who the useless fool was as the car's glass were tinted darkened.

Reluctantly, he knocked softly on it half expecting to see one of those old grumpy men who were meant to be resting as they were already aged wearing plain white uniforms like that of a pilot driving this rich much lazy people around. But then, as the car darkened window lowered, he got a huge surprise as his eyes came in contact with that of the most beautiful young woman he'd ever seen. He looked at her starry eyed and awestruck making his heart missed or rather skipped a beat as their gazes locked.

Her appearance made him so confused and dumbfounded at the same time. He simply could not take his eyes off of her as it was impossible to like she'd glued and magneted it. He was so surprised that the driver of the car was this so much young, gorgeously and stunning woman. His eyes couldn't stop but scanned her whole body through as he admired her inwardly for being such a beauty to behold. Even for a second or minute, it was so hard and devastatingly difficult not to look or stare at her. So, I just had to give up my oblivion and take her all in at once.
