On a Monday night, April 24, 2023. Xian sebastian came home after his work. He stayed awake for the night, waiting for his birthday just hours away. Xian will turn 18 in 4 hours. Xian had an older brother named, Angelo sebastian. They were left alone in the world early, after their parents died in a car accident. The news came suddenly, when Xian was just 10 years old and his brother, Angelo, 12 years old. His brother was now at work, so xian was alone in their house. The eerie silence and his fatigue made xian fall asleep. Time passed, just seconds away from his 18th birthday, suddenly, a blinding light engulfed him! Xian was jolted awake by the light that engulfed him.
Just when the light dimmed down, he gently opened his eyes and surveyed his surroundings to see if his sight is still fine, when suddenly, he realized that he was in an unfamiliar room! He quickly scratched his eyes to see if he was seeing things wrong, but he's still in a room that he found to be unfamiliar. The panic-stricken xian hurriedly stood up and check his surroundings. He seemed to be alone in a room that looked like a hut. He remained unmoving as he was still in panic, but it didn't last long. As a few hours had passed, he slowly calmed himself down. "Calm down, xian. Nothing will help if i am to be in panic at all times." 'pheww', xian adjusted his breathing and began to think about what to do.
'A few hours have passed, but no one came in. It seems like i'm alone in this house.' Xian thought. He stood up again and left the house to look outside, and surely, he was not in his house or anywhere near, as he see that he was in a place that looked liked a village. But the surprise didn't end there, as he saw that, there were two moons in the sky! Xian recalled a certain novel that he read about and realized, that he had just transmigrated! he saw a pond near his house and quickly look at it. He was glad to see that it was his face and body that he was still in.
…
2 weeks had passed, since xian was transmigrated and he had gathered some information from the villagers, and knew that they had found him near their village seemingly near from death, and quickly bought him from the hut the he stayed in. They were actually surprised to see him rather energetic as he seemed to be close to death when they found him. But they didn't delve into it further as they thought that he was just sick or fatigued and had just recovered normally. The villagers were really nice to him. On his 1st week, he was surprised to know that he was in a world where cultivation is the focus of the world and not science or technology. As from what he heard, the village he was in, is on the outskirts of a kingdom called, Lionheart kingdom.
…
1 month had passed, and he was making plans to go in the kingdom so that he can gather more information about the world he was in. After, a month's of hardwork in helping the villagers in some menial task in the village, he had saved up 10 bronze coins to go to the village.
10 bronze coins, can accomodate a family of four for a week. 10 bronze coin can be exchanged for 1 silver coin. where as, 10 silver coins can be exchanged for 1 gold coins.
After a day, he had bid farewell to the villagers and had pack his things for his travel. From the village to lionheart kingdom, he can get there in a day in his traveling speed. The kingdom was north of the village so there was no problem for him getting there.
A day had passed, Xian already saw the towering walls of the kingdom on his way to the gate. There was a line for people wanting to get inside the kingdom, so he naturally stationed himself at the back of the line.
"Good morning, do you have an id or any identification before going in the city?", the city guard asked. ""uh, no. I don't have an id with me. would that be a problem?", Xian asked with worried heart. "No. You just have to pay 3 bronze coins for your entry and get an id inside once you get in there." "oh okay, here!", Xian gave 3 bronze coins to the city guard, and they quickly made way for him inside. "Thanks, welcome to the lionheart kingdom!", The city guard said. Xian nodded and thanked the city guards. He quickly made his way in and he marvelled at the beautiful sight of the kingdom. The people were lively. He saw some stalls on the side and on the middle were paved stones for carriage to pass. He asked a man standing at the side. "Excuse me, do you know the way to an inn?" The man looked at him and taught him the directions. "Ah, yes. You just have to walked straight and you will see an inn with a boar as it's symbol. There, you'll find the boar inn." He quickly thanked the man and find his way to the inn.
At the inn, he asked at the register how much a stay for a day would cost. "It would be, 3 bronze coins for a day and 20 bronze coins for a week of stay.", the girl said. "Alright, just a day of stay then.", he smiled and said. "okay! here's the key to your room. your room will be upstairs on the second floor. Your room number will be 207." Xian smiled and thanked the registrar and made his way to his room. "room 207… 207…", he looked at the doors as he murmured.
He got to his room and put all his things inside. He got out and made his way to the register again. "Hi, excuse me! Do you know where is the library?", the registrar was somewhat taken aback by the sudden question, but quickly composed herself. "The library is west of the inn. Find the symbol with a book, there you'll find the library." "Thanks!", said Xian as he smiled and got out of the inn.
He arrived at the library and got to the librarian. "Hi, do you know where i can find information about the continent?", he asked. "Go right, bookshelf number 17, row 2.", the librarian sternly answered. "alright… thanks.", he said, as he weirdly looked at the librarians attitude. But he quickly shrugged it off.
…
6 hours later, he had finished reading at the library, and got out when he noticed that the sun was already setting. He learned a lot about the world and the continent he was in that's called as, tiger continent. He heard his stomach growling, so he got to the boar inn. Arriving at the boar inn, he sees that there were much more people there than in the day. some were already drinking, and some were eating. He found an empty seat and ordered. "Hi sir, what will you be having?", the waiter asked, as he read the menu. "I'll have… some boar meat and some water." "alright, sir. please wait for your order.", the waiter said as he smiled.
10 minutes later, he got his order and gulped down at it. He hadn't realized that when he came at the kingdom, he hadn't eaten anything and just got to the library.
…
A day later, he was just casually strolling in the kingdom, when suddenly, someone bumped into him. "Watch where you're going, peasant! You'll dirty my clothes that is worth more than you!", the noble that bumped into him said. People were looking at the spectacle when they saw that it was the young master of the gaiser clan, they looked away. Afraid that they will be dragged into it by the arrogant fat man. Xian was surprised at the reaction of the people and understood that this fat guy cannot be offended. "I'm sorry, young master. I will be more careful in the future.", Xian said. The fat young master was just making things difficult for him because xian was handsome. "Hmph! you better know what's good for you or else.", the noble said and left. Xian thought that was the end of it.
Xian, was thinking of going back the inn when he saw the sect that was named, "Mount hua sect" at it's plaque. Written in bold words and with beautiful calligraphy. He just passed by it and got to the inn. At his room, he counted all his coins and saw that, he was just left with 3 bronze coins. Xian was thinking about what could he do to earn more coins, when suddenly, there's a commotion at the middle of the plaza. He got out and took a look at what is it. He saw that people were excited and happy about an announcement in the bulletin board. He read through it and saw, that the yearly recruitment of mount hua sect is tomorrow.
Xian's heart raced with excitement and anticipation at the opportunity to join the Mount Hua Sect. Despite his initial fear, he knew this could be his chance to elevate his status and strength in this new world. With determination burning in his chest, Xian made a silent vow to himself that he would do whatever it takes to pass the recruitment and become a disciple of the prestigious sect.
