Giselle Vila Rosa's point of view
─────────────────────────
"Alright, alright, you're a kinky and horny virgin, two secrets went on. How many did I tell you again?"
"Only that you and Russian-boy are hooking up in secret," ew, ew.
"Okay, okay," she giggled excited, again reminding me of a golden retriever. "So, some time ago, I learned that my brother was into Charity Matthews, from a clan that's very close to ours, and she also had a crush on him, so, I secretly sent her a lover letter as if I was him, and she later came to our villa and made a move on him, since she didn't before because she was afraid of being turned down. Then they began going out. He has no idea I did that, and he can't know, or he'll be annoyed."
For some reason, I felt annoyed and I couldn't even laugh. Not just because she just told me the Matthews, the strongest clan of the US are in a close relationship with the Park, which I had no idea and I doubt my família do either, but because I also had no idea they were a thing. Charity and him, I mean. There were rumors, but I thought they were just rumors.
And she goes here. She's the Queen Bee, older than him and me.
"I see," I did my best to laugh, but it came out fake.
"Oh, I'm sorry, you a crush,"
"I don't," I didn't even let her finish. "It's just that Charity has been a horrible person to me since ever, and she's the one who began calling me four-eyes, and saying I was obsessed with your brother and some shit. I was just surprised that you two are friends, I didn't think the Matthews and the Park were that close. It has nothing to do with Park Jin-young, he could be fucking a tree or a cheeseburger and I wouldn't even blink."
She took a minute, "I'm not friends with her, I just did it for him." Then another minute. "She's always been cool when she went to the villa, the relationship between our families is a secret, so I think I just shared 4, but it's okay. I feel in my heart that you're trustworthy. I also didn't know she was such a mean girl to you, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought her up. I did know she was like the Queen of the girls in here."
Now it makes sense why she calls herself Hera. Hah, that bitch. "I understand that you couldn't know, since you weren't here before, you just got here. I was just surprised. You don't need to explain yourself to me, or to anyone at all, for a matter of fact."
"Oh shit," she clapped her hands as if she had just recalled one of her memories, and I blinked wary. "I just remembered the chaos that Vila Rosa bastard caused, and the fact that Giselle Vila Rosa is somewhere in here," I was waiting for that. "And eonni, you got everybody shocked with your behavior, almost all the scholarship kids agreed with you, and the kids that are from the legacy clans like us, all got just stunned. Oppa was with his jaw on the ground. Especially when Giselle helped you."
"Ah, I almost forgot that chaos," I pushed aside.
"Then you chiller than I thought, cuz fucking hell, I've never seen anybody confront Ricardo Vila Rosa like you did there. You do know that had that been outside he could've killed you, right?" She gasped looking at me as if I was insane. "I can't believe he even strangled you like that, and even freaking dropped you from that stupid height. Had Giselle not helped you, you could have broken more than just a few bones. Girl, imagined if you broke your spine, you would've been screwed for good, that was more than reckless from both of you."
That would've never happened outside because he knows I would have whooped his ass had he dared to do what he did back there. He only did it because he knows my pride wouldn't allow me to use my magic right there against him. And he would never kill me, not just because he ain't string enough for that, but also because he needs me, he needs my power.
"Speaking of that," she passed her hands over her hair that's still messy, and I believe Park Jin-young's sidekick is to blame for that, "there was a group of people who thought you were Giselle, that you were the one she's disguising as, they said Ricardo Vila Rosa constantly calls you in his office, you're the only scholarship student he calls in there, and that you had spoken like that like an act. Because she said Giselle would never have helped anybody but herself, especially not a scholarship kid who had just badmouthed her."
Oh? Who's that freaking genius? "Me?" I gasped. "Who said that?"
"Charity did," she chuckled anxiously, "two of her legacy friends, and about five scholarship kids that hang around her."
"The hoe, her sidekicks, and her keychains?" I scoffed. Who could have thought she had a brain inside that head of hers? I personally thought it was so empty it echoed inside there, seems like I'm wrong.
Jin-ah burst out laughing at how I called them, "Don't worry, me and my brother quickly said they were wrong. Everybody said they were out of their mind, though I low-key feel like they were scared of that being true, since they all treated you like shit, and if you were Giselle you would end up coming to whoop all of their arses. Oppa said that Giselle would've never allowed herself to be scorned by anybody, especially him, because she is too prideful for that, and if there's someone in here who knows her, it's oppa, they have met countless time, and they are nemesis."
Knows me my foot. He only knows what I allowed him to.
"Besides," she sighed, "he said that you were just acting up right now because the Chairman may have used something personal against you, just like he mistreated you in front of everyone. We all know he loves her with all his heart, that she's his precious daughter, and he would have never laid a finger on her, like he did to you back there. So, saying that you were acting up against them all of a sudden was not a reason to be used when they are accusing you of being Giselle."
"I just couldn't bear their shit anymore," I rolled my shoulders.
"So, what do you think?"
"Think of?" I frowned.
"Of how he defended you," she grinned.
I think he's wrong. "Be serious, Jin-ah."
She pouted, "Eonni, you really don't have a crush on him?"
"No," I scowled.
"Aye, fine, I'll pretend I believe that. So, who do you think it is?"
"Who?" I played dumb.
"Eonni," she cried, "who do you think is Giselle? Any guess?"
"Oh?" I grinned wolfishly, "Not a guess. I know who she is."
Her eyes almost popped, "What?" She yelled. "How? Who?"
"This is my third secret, you can't say it to anybody."
"Oh, don't do this to me," she cried. "Fine, we took an oath, I won't be able to tell anyone even if I wanted to. But how do you know? Are you friends with her? Is that why you acted like that?"
"Nah, none of that," I scoffed.
"Don't make me beg, eonni," she pouted.
"Alright fine, but you really better keep this here."
"The oath is unbreakable, eonni, I can't talk about it at all."
"How amazing," my grin widened.
"Now tell me."
"Me!"
She blinked, her smiled dying, "What about you?"
"I am Giselle," I chuckled.
"Stop joking."
"I'm not joking though," I tilted my head, smiling.
"I don't believe you," she frowned.
"Fine with me," I scoffed.
"Prove it!"
"What?"
"You said that you're Giselle, prove it to me," she sat up.
Yawning, I sat down, staring at her a bit bored, then I stood up, and as I walked towards her, I slowly undid my disguise, and the more I came back to myself, the more her eyes widened, until I was right in front of her, so close to her bed that when I leaned closer, she leaned herself back and away from me, breathing heavily and blushing hard. Slowly, I allowed a grin to curl my lips, "Is this enough proof to you, Jin-ah?" I purred.
Her lips parted but no word came out, it was as if she was struggling and more and more, her white skin reddened, "Your eyes," she breathed.
"Beautiful aren't they?" I rolled some strings of her hair in my ring finger and breathed in her scent. "You smell like coconut and lavender."
And just like that, her skin turned 50 shades redder, "You're her."
Smiling, I released her hair and took a step back, still close. "Don't worry, Jin-ah, I'm not going to bite you, or kiss you," because the way she just looked at my lips was far from innocent. "And yes, I'm… myself. I told you it was me," I rolled my shoulders, solely in a pair of Calvin Klein black underwear, but with a snap of my fingers, I put a short high-waist fluffy light green shorts.
"I don't… I don't understand," she said under her breath.
"I can't believe I'm going to say this about that bitch, but Charity was right," I sat my ass on the hanging chair at the left side of her bed. "Ah, and your 'oppa' don't know me as well as you believe, my relationship with papai is, in fact, horrible and in pieces, and his pai, my grandpa, also hates my guts, even though I'm as strong as I am," sigh. "He was brat by doing what he did back there, I spoke up trying to make people risk my name off the list and not put the pieces together that I am, in fact, Giselle Vila Rosa. Though my full name is in truth, Giselle D'Angelo Vila Rosa."
Slowly she sat down, dismay all over her pretty face, "D'Angelo?"
A nod, "My mamma is Debora Valentina D'Angelo."
"You're a daughter of Debora D'Angelo with Ricardo Vila Rosa?"
"Their only daughter together," I stared at the ceiling. "Papai and mamma had a one night stand in a night of a blood moon, and I was the oh-so-amazing result of that one night stand. She was scorned by the D'Angelo and cut out of the clan for getting pregnant of the heir of the Vila Rosa, as the two famílias hated each other, and she became miserable because of that and raised me in secret, while publicly acting as if she was childless. She was a… terrible madre," I chuckled self-deprecatingly, "and she made me as miserable as she was."
"When I was 10 years old, after a fight between their families, my madre's parents, aka my nonni, told papai and his família that he had gotten their daughter pregnant and never took responsibility for the baby she was raising on her own. So, because of the pressure of both families, they got married and that was when I met the Vila Rosa. But little after that Filipe died," sigh, "and hell broke loose when Ricardo made me his heiress after he grasped a little bit of the depth of my powers."
"So, no, I'm not his precious daughter, Park Jin-ah," I turned my eyes to her. "He hates me, he hates that I'm stronger than Filipe was, and he hates that I'm stronger than him, but he loves that I'm stronger than his brother and his nephew. He wants to use me to get the seat of matriarch for myself, so he can take over the power behind the curtains, but I want nothing to do with that, I don't want to be matriarch, I don't want to be in such a position with a family that fucking hates me. Both side hates me, mamma's and papai's, especially after mamma died and papai did nothing about it."
"He's never been a pai to me, just like she wasn't a madre to me either, they were both people who shouldn't have been parents. I mean, he did a good job with Filipe, and my half-siblings that are his bastards, but not with me. He only sees my power when he looks at me, and that's why he constantly calls me in his office, to fight, and to piss me off, and to try making me be myself in here. Ricardo only attacked me like that, because he knows my pride won't let me fight back in front of everyone."
