Chapter 7 - Lies

Giselle Vila Rosa's point of view

"I… I'm sorry," she cried. "I'm so sorry…"

"You don't need to, Jin-ah," I chuckled anxiously. "Really."

"We all judged you so wrong, I,"

"I don't mind it. You didn't judge me, your family did."

"That's why I'm feeling terrible, oppa,"

"Park Jin-young judged me because of our conflicts. I totally get it, and I like to provoke and get on his nerves, it gives me genuine joy," and he looks painfully hot when he's angry. "We are rivals, nemesis as you said. It was written in the stars that we would be enemies, our families hate each other, we are from opposite extreme sides in power, politics, and he is all but constantly trying to win against me, because I'm number 1 and he can't handle the fact that for the first time in his life he's having the top spot denied, and there's nothing he can do about that. We do fight a lot outside. However," I turned my eyes to her, "that fight is mine and his, not yours, Jin-ah, don't apologize for him. I also have nothing against you at all."

"I mean, sure, the idea that being close to you will make him really furious, if especially if he gets words that I am me, surely is attractive. That was why I knew who you were the second I saw you outside my door, as I have met you before. I'll confess that I was taken aback at first, and I was actually silently praying for you to leave like everyone did, because I was warned multiple times by the Vila Rosa to stay the fuck away from the Park clan's members. But then you talked about me, and you actually had a crush on me, and I decided that it wouldn't be so bad to have you as my roomie as I thought it would, because you're far cooler than Park Jin-young."

She blushed again, "You think I'm cool?"

"A bit dummy, but sure, you're cool, like a golden retriever pup."

"Is that your favorite dog?"

"No, I'm a Doberman kind of girl," I chuckled.

"My brother too," she tilted her head. "So, you have a,"

"Don't go there," I glared at her.

"Fine, maybe not a crush, but you do think he's hot," she pointed.

"What makes you think that?" I arched my eyebrows.

"Oh, come on, El, I saw the way you blushed when you two were bickering because of the screws of the door. And the way you looked at him. I bet he also noticed that," she chuckled.

I rolled my eyes, "Well, he is hot, and so are you. Good genes."

"You think I'm hot?" She beamed.

"Well, of course," I allowed my eyes to linger on her and her skin reddened again. "You both look alike, you're both very, very hot."

"You're hot too," she laid down on her belly, lower legs up, very much like a puppy, weighting her chin on her palms, balancing it over her elbows, with a blinding smile on. "I meant what I said, you are ethereal."

That was as effective as a Uno reverse card because I'm blushing for sure, "I know, I'm amazing," I said with a smug on. "Thanks."

"I can't believe I'm rooming with Giselle D'Angelo Vila Rosa," she giggled, turning around to lay on her back again. "Oh my Gods, oppa would go crazy if he knew this," then she began to laugh like a maniac and I just stared at her. "You are literally the strongest awakened in the whole fucking world, I can't believe this," she got back to laying on her belly and look at me. "I'm rooming with my brother's nemesis, how likely was that?"

"I've been asking myself the same thing," I mumbled. "I actually hate the Ella disguise, but I made myself look like that exactly because of the fact that she's very opposite to me," I stared down at my hands and then my body. "And I more than anything, hate those fake corrective glasses."

"You really fooled everyone," she gasped.

"Well, not Charity and her minions, it seems."

"Hmm," she gave me a naughty look, "is it true that you can create an entire different dimension with cosmic energy?"

"It's cosmic energy, Jin-ah, the matter of the cosmos, where all we know comes from, so yes, I can create whatever I want. Like my disguise, my clothes, and everything. I can use it for portals, to change the color of other stuff, to create things, to teleport stuff from one place to another, and it goes on. Just as I can also destroy things to dust with it, you could say it a double-edged blade in a way. I got awakened at 6, alone, and I end up destroying my entire bedroom in which I was locked in by mamma, I also would accidentally teleport to crazy places like the Sahara desert or a lil boat in the middle of the Pacific," it was in one those uncontrollable times I teleported when emotionally conflicted that I teleported to the place where I found Kamran Freydun Iravani Gharabaghi's diaries.

Sitting down on her bed, she covered her mouth with her hand, her skin pale, "I've never heard your power was that overwhelmingly strong, that's insanity, no wonder Ricardo Vila Rosa is so greedy over what you possess. And to awaken at 6, with nobody on your side to help you… I… I can't even imagine how rough it must have been for you."

"It was, it really was," sighing, I stared at the ceiling. "16 years has passed since then, I've learned how to lean solely on myself because I never really had anybody there for me, nobody who wasn't near just to leach on me. And though it was really freaking hard," with the help of the diaries, "I managed to control my powers as best as I could. It's not 100% yet, but I would say I can control 89% of it. I also have telepathy which I can use only on those who have a mind weaker than mine, if their mind is as strong as mine or stronger, I can't use it."

"Telepathy? Can you read mine?" She closed her eyes.

"Nope," I chuckled. "Your clan have a tradition of strengthening the mind of all of you, so your mind is stronger than you magic by ten times. Which makes your mind, Jin-young's, and the minds of everyone in your clan, as strong or stronger than mine, so I can't read yours. And for me to speak mind to mind with one of you, you need to give me aurea permission," I only learned all of this through the diaries, as he also had telepathy.

"Aurea what? I've never heard of that," she blinked confused.

I brushed away with my hand, "I'll tell you another time."

"Alright. Can I call you El then? It's not Ella or Elle."

"Just call me eonni," I closed my eyes.

"Can I?" She beamed.

"Sure."

"Okay, eonni," she beamed like a child and looked up at the ceiling, with giggling smile on. "I'm calling Giselle eonni!"

I couldn't help but to roll my eyes, even though there was a lil smile curling at the left corner of my lip, "You are really silly."
