Bastopher found himself overwhelmed within seconds. First, Spheris caught his fist like a flimsy bird, squeezed it with his palms before holding onto it, spinning him in the air like a ragdoll, and sending him crashing back to the ground.
He managed to reduce the impact of the crash by using his flames to rival the falling force, but the collision of him and the ground still caused the earth to crack open widely.
Spheris didn't relent. He placed his body in the form of an arrow and sped down back to the ground, crashing into Bastopher and causing the destroyed earth to shatter even deeper.
Bastopher recovered, and tried to blast him off his body, but the Shaded Knight floated above the attack, and landed on his feet like a feather.
His eyes narrowed at the Prince, and his body entered motion once more, moving with the precision of a vehement predator.
