The largest screening room was already filled with audience members who were waiting for the premiere of "Magic Tide," a movie belonging to the people of this country and promoted for several months.
After the manager of the cinema and the president of the Jiangcheng Film Association had given their speeches, it was time for Lu Ban to speak.
He wasn't wearing any purple suit, just a long overcoat, as he took over the microphone.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I am Lu Ban, the director of 'Magic Tide.' In fact, I think many of you might be thinking, 'hurry up and start the movie already,' so I'll keep it brief," he said.
Lu Ban's words elicited good-natured laughter from the audience, and he continued.
