Xining Guard was still standing, but Wa Ci did not enter through Xining; however, the military force of Xining Guard had been nearly wiped out since the critical passes had been conquered, and their cavalry headed straight for Jingshi Capital. Xining, a place known for deporting prisoners, thus became less important and was temporarily spared.
Pei Qin had inquired and just learned that Mo Heng had escaped from danger and had moved his troops to a new position.
"Damn! Didn't they send him a message in between? I came all the way here, and he freaking left!?" Pei Qin couldn't help but curse.
