Chris' POV:
Finally after weeks of working, I took a day off. I didn't know if I should spend it at home with Lily or spend it with Rita as promised so I decided to spend my day off with both of them. I wanted to talk to Lily about it but I didn't want to wake her so I just laid beside her, waiting for her to wake up.
As I stared at her in her sleep, I couldn't help but notice how pretty and innocent she looked. She had always wanted to make this marriage work but I was pushing her away. Her pretty blonde hair draped over her shoulders, and some strands clung to her face. She looked so peaceful.
