Chapter 212 - Making the Ballista

The enormous pile of materials Sebastian bought was in front of him.

The courtyard was filled to the brim. He hoped the owner would not mind. But if that was the case, Sebastian would make sure she got rewarded for the trouble.

He then went to inspect the crates' content. The materials seemed of excellent quality. Sebastian grinned.

"Alright," he said to himself, rolling up his sleeves. "Time to get to work."

He began by sorting the materials, placing the wood in one pile, the metals in another, and the fanged parts in a third.

Each item was inspected, ensuring it met the standards Miles specified on the blueprints.

He couldn't afford any mistakes; the ballista needed to be perfect, otherwise it would not work.
