Amy teeth gritted, she really wanted to strangle Delilah. Why is she being so difficult!?
A gasp escaped Amy's lips, her eyes welling up with manufactured tears. "Delilah, how could you say that? I would never avoid you! You're my best friend!"
Delilah laughed coldly, her voice, though gentle, held an undeniable edge. "Best friends don't scheme against each other, Amy, and they also most definitely do not turn their 'best friend' into an errand girl, am I right?"
A murmur rippled through the classroom as other students, who had been silently observing the exchange, nodded approvely as they began to understand the hidden meaning behind Amy's intentions. Their whispers filling the air. Amy's face flushed red, her carefully constructed façade slowly crumbling.
Consecrated, Amy pulled her charade together. "I don't know what you're talking about, Delilah. I would never do anything to hurt you."
Delilah took a step closer to her, she leaned in and whispered, "Do you really think it is unclear to me why you came to the infirmary the other day? Jealousy, envy, and hate are evident in your eyes, Amy, it makes you look like a millennium old witch" in her ear, moving away from her.
Amy's eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean? How can you say that to me?!" she stammered, her voice cracking, face flushed with anger.
Delilah smirked. "You're very, uhm... predictable, Amy. Don't you think I don't know what you want?"
Amy was startled, she began to panic, "Wha-what are you talking about?"
Delilah smirked meaningfully," Have one get another free?" she laughed.
She'll be a fool not to say she doesn't know what Amy really wants, and she Delilah won't let her have Harrison, never!
As Amy was about to refute, Delilah waved her hand lazily, she knows that once she followed in Amy's bus, her life will be hard so she'd rather wait for Anna.
Amy was left standing alone with her fist tightened, her face burning, she was so angry her head hurts.
Delilah had just sat on her seat when,
BAM! Amy's hands fell heavily on the table, her eyes shooting daggers at Delilah.
" You'll regret this Delilah!" she said lowly, there was an underlying solid threat in her voice.
Delilah gave a charming smile, "I can make you lose face before both guys if you keep this up, and you have no right to threaten me, or I can really make you regret" she whispered, her smile unwavering.
What does Amy take her for? She's Chen Xiao's daughter, yet this little middle-class girl is threatening her? Outrageous!
Delilah sighed inwardly, it was her fault, if she wasn't so infatuated with Fredrick, she wouldn't be in this mess.
Amy didn't understand Delilah's word so she thought she was only bluffing, she sneered," Who do you think you are to talk to me like that, you low-class peasant"
Delilah lowered her eyes and her aura exploded, it was so cold, it could freeze a soul, Amy felt a shiver ran down her spine.
" Don't dare me Amy" she said with a cold smile, her voice was low, but the tone was full of warning.
