Vital sign machine indicated that the man is alive. Dr. Janki asked for that man's update in chat. Sophie's mother texted her about his usual condition and Dr. Janki asked her to let Shringar know everything without the police getting involved. Sophie's mother seemed anxious but she knew how important it is. Shringar picked her phone up which was continuously buzzing. She noticed a tons of messages in her 'Secret Mission' group chat which was made by Lalit and Gaurav after their meeting regarding the case. Shringar started reading the messages.
Dorothy's message- {I was being called to be present at the police station after my classes in college. When I went their I got to know that officer Rani did not give the recording to the higher-ups last day because she forgot. So they wanted me to listen to the whole recording to confirm whether the recording is the original one or not. So, I confirmed it and came back. It was the correct one.}
Lalit answered- {That's strange, why an officer like Rani would forget such a crucial evidence? I think something is wrong. I suggest everyone to not submit any evidence to her. Specially outside the station. If possible then give it to other officer, someone who looks reliable.}
Sanskar suggested- {I believe Officer Prakash is the key. He is helping Shringar anyway. So we should rely on him.}
Everyone agreed. Even Shringar agreed with them.
Later Shringar got a phone call from Prakash. She picked up and heard Prakash's voice from the other side of the phone, "Shringar, a lot of things happened today. Perhaps you already know Dorothy's part. So I will tell the rest." Shringar intently sat besides the window and listened to him. Prakash continued, "There is another reason why I came to help you. I believe Officer Rani is connected to someone outside the station, whom she keeps on giving information to. Raghuvendra Sinha was in a special cell and even after that he died just in two days, without any trouble. It is really strange. But I can not completely go against her just because of that." Shringar asked, "What happened to Officer Rani in the morning about the recording?" "She is being warned by Deputy Superintendent because he could not get anything special from interrogation except for the fact that she forgot to give it. She was sticking up with that mantra and got free. Chief approved my request. She asked us to investigate "Swara". She even said that she had a feeling that it has some connection to the case." Shringar said, "That is a really good news." Prakash continued, "Well currently we were trying to decipher the words told by Raghuvendra Sinha. "VeilTus", "Blessed Children" and "Synthesized- demons". We found out about "Blessed Children" though we are still searching for the other two." Shringar eagerly listened to Prakash and he continued, "We consulted a specialist bought by Dr. Vanessa, Dr. Ravi Raj Roy from "Devki Science Lab". He told us about the concept of blessed children. Blessed children are suppose to be a series of phenomena which was predicted by many scientists at the time when "Swara" got discovered. It is also known as "Swara's effect". "Swara" was discovered in the cold mountains of Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir by six mysterious travelers. It was taken out from deep down of a ditch." Shringar interjected, "I have read that part about the mysterious Indian travelers finding Swara in the northernmost state of India. But whenever I read the part of ditch I always get chills down my spine. How come something as warm as "Swara" got discovered at such a cold point." Prakash agreed and kept going, "Now the part of new information comes. "Swara" is a very powerful energy. It is extremely powerful and that us why it is kept in such a strong container now. When the energy got exposed in the outside atmosphere strange rays got reflected from it to the whole world. Scientists realized that it must have some effect on the world. It was found from several tests done by doctors and scientists that children from the age 0-10 and even babies in fetus state has a strange energy inside their bodies. That energy is as magical as "Swara" , and that is why the term "Blessed Children" came into being. Some scientists stated that "Blessed Children" might open up some chakras inside them which can produce magic or create extrasensory perception in them. Shringar do you know what extrasensory perception is?" Shringar answered, "Yes, I have heard of it before. It means perception which involves awareness and information about events external to the self not gained from the senses or not deducible from previous experience." Prakash said, "Absolutely correct Shringar. Your father was one of the scientists from the department of science which headed the tests. Dr. Ravi Raj who was one of the doctors in it provided us all the information and lists of doctors and scientists involved in it eight years ago when "Swara" got discovered." Shringar got shocked to hear that. She did not say anything for a brief moment and Prakash waited for her to speak. She said, "Officer Prakash, I am thankful to you. If you were not here then I would never know about these things." Prakash said, "Not to worry Shringar I am just fulfilling my oath. Also, for some reason I myself got to trust you a lot. I guess it is a police's instinct. So as "Swara" was taken out eight years ago I believe you were eight years old that time. So you are one of "Blessed Children" Shringar. And everyone in your generation are as well. You all are unique beings. I wonder what powers you will discover in the future." Shringar smiled and said, "Yeah, I figured. But there is a chance that I won't be able to produce strength cause even though we have advantage due to "Swara's effect" we still are human beings." Prakash agreed but he seemed to be convinced that Shringar will discover her inner powers sooner or later. He said, "Well the real matter is that Raghuvendra Sinha did talk about brain wash and mentioned about his own child for one instance in his session with Dr. Vanessa. He used the phrase "Also his child". We are safely assuming that VeilTus is brain washing "Blessed Children" and Raghuvendra Sinha's son is being brain washed as well. We did found a picture of his family at his place where we could understand that his son does belong to the "Blessed Children" generation. After discussing the scenario to Dr. Vanessa, she concluded that Raghuvendra Sinha lost his sanity due to the betrayal of VeilTus, who or which promised him something but did not fulfill it instead brain washed his son and used him for something. We all agreed with her. Now our focus is to find VeilTus which we and even you all assumed to be an organization. Asst. Inspector Chanakya did say that a small group or an individual can not pull such huge strings. It must be a full fledge secret organization working under our nose. Also we all agreed with the fact that Raghuvendra Sinha was a member of VeilTus and all the other ultra violet colored dress people are VeilTus members. We are all worried about other children so will work fast now. But what is more concerning is the "Synthesized- demons" Raghuvendra Sinha talked about. Who knows what devious plans this VeilTus will execute." Shringar said, "Let's hope for the best." They both cut the phone and Shringar lied down on her bed to sleep. It's 1:08am. She needs to sleep otherwise Dr. Nitish will get angry.
On the next afternoon she proceeded towards the counseling session. On the way she found Elina and Sanskar talking to each other. Shringar approached them. Sanskar said, "Look at Elina's sketchbook Shringar." It was a drawing of an accident occurring in front of "Devki's Psychiatric Institute". While Shringar was trying to process the meaning behind this drawing Sanskar said, "Elina is claiming that she drew it in her sleep. She remembered watching the entire thing in her sleep. And when she woke up, she noticed that she was holding a pencil and this sketchbook." Shringar asked, "How is that even possible?" Elina said, "It did happened though. It is not a false claim." Sanskar agreed, "The scene is so vivid as if it is real. But nothing as such actually happened in reality. Dreams can be so complicated isn't it." Elina smiled at Sanskar and Shringar noticed the street clock in the drawing which says 14:53 pm. The date under the clock was of today. Strangely it was around 14:34 pm in Shringar's watch. Shringar mentioned about this detail to Elina and Sanskar asked, "Shringar do you think it is a vision? Cause we will reach our destination around this time by walking." Shringar was confused and suddenly remembered about "Blessed Children" which Officer Prakash talked about in phone. Officer Prakash's last phone call's information was shared by Shringar in the 'Secret Mission' group chat, but perhaps this situation was not ringing any bell in their heads. Elina laughed and said, "Stop saying such nonsense Sanskar. Supernatural is not real." Sanskar said, "Why not? If "Swara" can exist in our world, then why not supernatural?"
The police telephone rang and Asst. Inspector Puja picked up, "Hello this is the task force, is their anything I can do for you?" The voice from the other side slowly said, "Inspector…. I have a doubt on Dr. Nitish." Asst. Inspector got a bit confused and asked, "Who is this? Where are you calling from? Why do you suspect Dr. Nitish?" Officer Prakash who was reading all the reports from all the previous information they found this far heard Puja's questions. The caller said, "I… I am calling you from a telephone booth ma'am.. I want to keep my identity anonymous… Please beware of Dr. Nitish. He tried to threaten me." Officer Puja got surprised, "You may keep your identity anonymous. But what kind of threat are you talking about?" Officer Prakash approached Asst. Inspector Chanakya and whispered to him, "Trace the call." Chanakya started tracing the call. The person from the other side said, "Ma'am, it is just an instinct… but that person has exactly as cold eyes as any of those VeilTus members. As if they all have a similar eerie look in their eyes. Please do investigate him before he harms Shringar in anyway." The phone got cut. And the police traced the call. The time was 14:50pm and Shringar along with Sanskar and Elina reached their destination. They were about to cross the road. Elina said, "I like magic and fantasy. Reality feels boring sometimes. I wished magic is real. To be honest when I heard about "Swara" I felt like magic exist." Sanskar nodded with a smile. Suddenly a car loses its balance and a bike man got scared to move which causes an accident of the car with the bike. The crash was huge and everyone got scared. Elina shockingly said, "This… This is exactly like my dream…." Shringar looked at the street clock and noticed the time was 14:53 pm. Sanskar called the ambulance and Shringar called the police. Officer Prakash and Asst. Inspector Puja along with Officer Rani went to find the person behind the telephone booth. They reached their and found nothing. They searched the surrounding but did not get anything. Officer Rani kept on lecturing Puja telling her what to do and what not to. Recently Puja feels really down because of everyone's behavior in the task force. She does not smile like before anymore. Officer Prakash approaches and ask Officer Rani to not yell. "It seems evident that both Officer Prakash and Officer Rani hates each other." Puja thought. Officer Prakash calmly asked, "Asst. Inspector, please do check who among the suspects of this case lives around here or has their work place around." "YES SIR!" Puja said energetically.
Elina ran towards the staff room and Shringar and Sanskar followed her. She approached Dr. Ravi Raj Roy, he is the psychiatrist who takes their free counseling session. Elina showed him her sketchbook since he was the one disclosing the concept of "Blessed Children". Elina said, "Doc, look at my sketchbook. I drew this event in my sleep last night and today it actually occurred. Do you think I have some sort of powers in me." Dr. Raj looked at her sketch and felt uneasy. He said, "Sometimes people does see visions, but that does not mean they all have powers." Sanskar interjected, "But Dr. Raj we saw the accident and it was exactly the same as in the picture. Look at the detailing, it is not just a simple vision. Seeing vision can happen sometimes but drawing it while sleeping is absurd." Dr. Raj explained, "Look here kids, each and every human being has powers in their mind. Through immense will power they can activate their power chakras. But there are some people whose chakras are easy to open. Due to "Swara" some people really did get powers. Possibly Elina is one of them. Miss Devki is a NGO person. Richest in Asia and funded many institutions and founded many institutes herself as well as an orphanage recently. Due to her help we got to know a lot of things about "Swara" and its effects. There is a term called "Blessed Children" which we found by many tests. Elina is one of those." Shringar got a message from Sophie. Sanskar noticed and ask about her. Shringar said, "Well, I got into an art institute and here I met Sophie." Sanskar asked, "When did you get into an art institute?" Shringar answered, "Gaurav is in it and he asked me to join in." Sanskar glared at Shringar and asked, "Does he talk to you a lot?" Shringar got a bit confused and said, "Not really. Why did you ask?" Sanskar answered, "Nothing. Its just that I don't like him. At the discussion he was looking at you. And I don't like that. Guess I am a boy so I has that instinct." Shringar smiled and said, "Don't worry Sanskar he may dress like a bad boy but he is a kind guy." Sanskar smiled.
Shringar saw her message. Sophie eagerly wanted Shringar to visit her house someday. It has been a few days since Shringar is attending the art institute. Shringar got to know that Sophie lives in the same locality as hers. Not only that, they are immediate neighbors as well. Shringar lives in house no.38 and Sophie lives in house no.39. Though Shringar does not want to escalate their relation this quick, to the extent of going to her house. Also Dr. Nitish is very protective towards Shringar and she does not want to worry him. So she politely rejects her offer. On the other hand Officer Prakash got to know that Dorothy's college is around that Telephone booth and Asst. Inspector Puja said that the voice of the person was of an young girl's and she sounded anxious. Officer Prakash thought, "If it was really Dorothy, then why did she anonymously called us? What made her believe that Dr. Nitish is a threat who can hurt Shringar? We have not said anything about our prime suspect to the suspects. So why? What made her do this all of a sudden?" Officer Rani said, "We should go and ask her." Everyone agreed but Officer Prakash said, "Wait. We should not hurry right now. Miss Dorothy wants to keep her identity anonymous so their must be a reason behind it." Officer Rani said, "Then how will we know about it." Asst. Inspector Chanakya said, "Maybe we should follow her and then approach her." Officer Prakash got a concerning feeling for Shringar.
On the next morning Shringar just woke up and started watching the news on T.V. to see if anything new is on the stock or not. She was waiting for Dr. Nitish to come back. "He bought some new furniture. But the delivery men were confused about our address, so he went out to check. Honestly I don't like it at all. I am bit of an introvert. Due to all these I could not check my mobile today. What if Officer Prakash gave an important message or something? I never miss his message." Dr. Nitish came back and furniture got inside the house properly. The only thing left now is to set them in the proper places. Shringar lends a hand to help Nitish. Dr. Nitish was happy to see Shringar helping. He said, "Shringar I am really sorry that I am not able to give you company recently because of work. Thanks for helping though." Shringar smiled and said, "Please don't apologize. I completely understand your situation Dr. Nitish. There is no compromise when its about work, and it is good." Today is Sunday and both Shringar and Dr. Nitish are free. "Let's make some plans and go out on a restaurant today." Dr. Nitish offered. Shringar blinked twice in a row and asked, "Won't it be expensive?" Dr. Nitish said, "Don't worry about it dear. I can at least do this for you." "He is saying that but he has been doing a lot for me since day one." Shringar thought to herself. Ultimately after a bit of insist she agreed to go out with him. Dr. Nitish almost started a pillow fight with Shringar to make her accept his offer. So she could not deny, also she found it a bit cute as well. Officer Prakash came to Dr. Nitish's house to check on Shringar. He was worried about her due to the phone call. "Yesterday Officer Rani asked Miss Dorothy about the phone call and she hesitantly denied it. Which already confirmed that she actually did call. But since we do not have much of an evidence so we could not do much about it. Also Shringar did not check any of his message from yesterday." Officer Prakash thought to himself. There are still many questions lingering in his head. He pressed the doorbell of Dr. Nitish's house. Both Dr. Nitish and Shringar were holding a heavy furniture so they planned on opening the door after placing it. But the doorbell kept on getting ringed after every five seconds. When Officer Prakash tried to take a peek from the window he could not see much properly. The windows were blurry from the outside. The only thing he could see was two figures, one short and one tall, holding a big furniture as if the taller figure was trying to harm the shorter figure and the shorter figure was trying to defend. Suddenly Shringar fell and got hurt a little. Officer Prakash had enough of it, he started slamming the door. Dr. Nitish was helping Shringar to get up and Shringar got scared to hear such slams. Dr. Nitish got really angry. Suddenly the slams got stopped and the window's glass got broke. Both Dr. Nitish and Shringar got shocked to see that. A moderately big stone was used to break the window. Dr. Nitish and Shringar both got out to see what happened. Many neighbors got out of their houses to see what was happening in house no. 38. Even Sophie and her mother got out to see from the other side of Shringar's place, which was house no. 39. Seeing Officer Prakash made both Shringar and Dr. Nitish shocked. Even for a brief moment Sophie and her mother looked at each other and then looked back at the scene. Dr. Nitish approached Officer Prakash and asked angrily and loudly, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU UP TO OFFICER PRAKASH? ARE YOU PLANNING TO KILL US OR SOMETHING?" Officer Prakash coldly asked instead, "Were you trying to kill Shringar?" Shringar answered, "What are you talking about Officer Prakash? We were working on setting furniture. It was just that I stumbled and fell by accident." Officer Prakash came to his senses and realized what happened. Dr. Nitish came closer to Officer Prakash with an intimidating stare and said, "I killed Shringar in your dreams I guess." Officer Prakash did not flinch at all, nor got scared but realized what the caller meant by "cold eyes". Shringar could not hear the last statement made by Dr. Nitish. Officer Prakash immediately apologized to them but Dr. Nitish screamed in a way so that the neighbors could hear him loud and clear, "THE HELL WITH YOUR APOLOGY OFFICER!? ARE YOU CRAZY? YOU NEED A PSYCHIATRIST! WHAT KIND OF A POLICE OFFICER ARE YOU, HUH!? YOU ARE BEING PARANOID. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH YOU SCSRED US!? OR HAVE ANY CLUE HOW COSTLY THE WINDOW REPAIRES WLL BE?" The neighbors started whispering, "Look how bad police are now a days are. This man is so bad." Shringar did not like a situation one bit. Specially the neighbors gossips on Officer Prakash. Also she could not understand why in the world he thought that Dr. Nitish tried to harm her. Officer Prakash said, "I am really sorry doctor. I will pay for the repairs. Please forgive my intrusion. I know what I did was absolutely rash, I am sorry." Dr. Nitish smirked with the same cold look in his eyes as if he was liking how Officer Prakash was being humiliated and apologizing. For some reasons Officer Prakash wanted Shringar to see her beloved Dr. Nitish like this but she was standing behind Dr. Nitish, so she had no idea about his current facial expression. The neighbors got really skeptical on Officer Prakash, some asked, "Nitish, why don't you call an asylum? This man does not seem well to us." Officer Prakash knew Dr. Nitish's good reputation as a doctor and that us why the neighbors are much more helpful to him that is why he did not feel angry. Dr. Nitish smiled and said, "Don't worry, we will manage." He looked back at Officer Prakash and said, "Honestly, people might get afraid due to your all time serious look Officer Prakash. But it does not affect me. You don't even look like a man in my opinion." Officer Prakash got surprised to see him talk like that. Some neighbors laughed at his comment and Shringar entered the argument to stop Dr. Nitish to go any further, "Please stop it. Officer Prakash, please don't mind him. He is just angry. We just need to focus on the window repairs. That is all. Officer Prakash, we need your assistance on it." The neighbors were about to leave and Dr. Nitish turned back to go inside to call for the window repairs. Suddenly Officer Prakash calmly spoke, "Dr. Nitish, your reputation proceeds you. No wonder only your side was taken positively despite of your harsh words. Let me tell you why your anger got high like this. Because you know the reason behind my suspicion." Shringar got confused. Officer Prakash continued, "Someone is disclosing all the information related to our case to you. You know very well that you are prime suspect behind Shringar's father's death." Shringar angrily asked, "Officer Prakash, are you serious?" Dr. Nitish started sweating. Officer Prakash nodded, "I know you trust Dr. Nitish the most among everyone you met so far, because he was the first person you met and spends most of the time with him. He shows kindness towards you and is amiable. But for a while he has been our prime suspect due to his dubious actions." "What dubious actions?" Shringar asked seriously. Officer Prakash looked at Dr. Nitish and said, "He does not go to the nursing home he woks for. He always has the idea that spies are following him and he fools them and escape every time." Shringar got scared a little. Officer Prakash continued, "The biggest reason to make him the prime suspect is because he asked us through orders from senior doctors to make you stay with until you completely get well and for not triggering much of your memories, are suppose to keep our mouths shut on some information." Dr. Nitish turned to Officer Prakash and warned, "Do not dare to heed the orders, or else you will loose your job." Shringar's anger shifted towards Dr. Nitish and she angrily said in a commanding manner, "Do not worry Officer Prakash, do tell everything that I need to know. Dr. Nitish has no right to stop you. I will be the judge whether it will trigger my memories or not. And Dr. Nitish, my respect for Officer Prakash is immense, so if you try to pull something bad against him, then I will go and stay in the orphanage instead of your house. Also, if you ask me Officer Prakash, then you should know that I am pretty much unbiased cause I trust myself the most, but I do not have access to my memories so I will only observe." Dr. Nitish got really angry and even Shringar could see the cold look in his eyes, which felt way too familiar to the culprit killing her family. Sophie and her mother smiled and the neighbors stopped gossiping and left. Officer Prakash said, "It is a vital information, but you need to know. The night of your family's murder, an autopsy took place. It was found that except for your father the dead women and the girl's DNA does not match with you or your father." Shringar's eyes widened. He continued, "Not only that, but the girl who was suppose to be your older sister died 24 hours before the incident. The murderer might have thought that the girl was sleeping and he kept on hitting the hammer knowing the dead corpse only." Shringar asked, "So that means, my mother and my sister did not die that night?" Officer Prakash sighed and said, "Yes, they are missing and we don't know if they are actully alive or not but at the very least, they did not die that night. The dead girl was Priya Sanayal and that lady who died along with your father that night was Ritu Sanayal, Priya's mother who used to work as a cleaner at your father's lab. Both Ritu and Priya was thankful to your father because he helped them financial. Ritu had a heart disease and she was about to die, so she wanted to leave the city and go back to the village she came from. So she along with her daughter came to say farewell to your father. She stayed at the cottage behind the guest house you and family were in for three days and on the last day she bought her daughter's body to the guest house who died by slow poisoning. Your father knew that he was suppose to die that night, and that is why he hid you, your mother and your sister somewhere but for some reason you still managed to get back, probably to get your father with you. But Ritu stopped the both of you and then the incident took place. We got to know these information thought surveillance cameras around that guest house and Ritu's neighbors." Shringar started thinking about it and pressurized herself, and suddenly remembered a scene.
[Ritu smirked and said, "I am a member of VeilTus. VeilTus promised that they will bring my health and my daughter's life if I work for them. They told me if my daughter was one of those "Blessed Children" so I just have to kill her, then they will turn her as strong as the "Blessed Children" when they get their hands on "Swara". We have the mission to activate their powers and make them part of our army. "Synthesized- demons" are not enough." Mr. Abhigyan Das said, "Ritu try to understand, you are being brainwashed just like those other VeilTus members and the "Blessed Children". These terrorists preys on your sorrows. They always does that. My friend died due to this. You killed your own daughter." Ritu laughed and said, "Sir, you won't understand. This is the only hope I am living for." Suddenly Mr. Abhigyan Das noticed Shringar standing in the entrance. He screamed, "SHRINGAR!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? You are suppose to be with your mother and sister. Shringar entered and hold her father's hand and smiled as though she knows what was about to happen. She said, "I won't leave without you."]
Remembering all these suddenly Shringar lost her balance and almost fell, despite of Dr. Nitish being closer to her distance he did not move an inch and looked at her apathetically but Officer Prakash ran towards her and held her tightly assuring her safety. Dr. Nitish smiled and said, "I told you not to trigger her memories. Shringar said, "Nothing happened Doctor. I don't remember anything in particular. It is just that I am shocked to hear those things." Dr. Nitish held her and said, "It is time for your medicines dear. Don't overthink and take rest. And Officer Prakash, don't you ever come back here to disturb us."
After taking her medicines she tried to sleep. Suddenly a message pops up. She picked her phone and saw Sophie messaged her. She read Officer Prakash's messages from yesterday about the anonymous phone call, and then she read Sophie's message. {Shringar I want you to come to my house tonight. There is something important that you need to know.} Suddenly a photo came up. A man was lying on the bed attached to saline and vital sign machine. His face was covered up, but he seemed like a young adult to her. Shringar planned to meet her. She did notice how silently without judging Sophie and her mother looked at them as if they knows something. Dr. Nitish said, "Shringar I am sorry, we can not go to the restaurant today. I have to go for some work." Shringar smiled and ask if she could go to her neighbor's house who she met in the art institute. He hesitantly accepted and asked her to come back home if she feels tired or uneasy.
She reached Sophie's house and she wholeheartedly welcomed her inside. Her mother prepared delicious food for her, but she wanted to meet the person in the picture. Sophie and her mother took her to the basement which had dim lights and a horror atmosphere with beautiful lilac scent for good sleep. She came closer to the man whose only connection vital sign machine shows that he is alive. He seemed as if he has been in the vegetative state for a while. When she approached him she got shocked. It was none other than Dr. Nitish. Shringar got afraid and said, "Impossible."
