Shringar who was shocked to see Dr. Nitish in a bedridden position wanted to ask a lot of questions. But unfortunately she could not speak a single word. Sophie patted her shoulder and Shringar startled. She asked in disbelief, "How is this possible…? Dr. Nitish seemed completely fine to me this morning and here he is in this position. His condition seems as if he is here for a while and not recently…." Sophie's mother held Dr. Nitish's hand tightly and looked at Shringar. She started, "It might sound crazy, but the person you are living with is not Dr. Nitish. He is an imposter." Hearing that Shringar got really scared and almost lost her balance. But she managed to stand properly and asked, "What in the world are you talking about!?" Sophie insisted, "It is true!! I know it might feel absurd but please listen to us for a moment. We don't know that man's intentions but we know that as long as you are with him, you are not safe. So we want to help you. Dr. Nitish Das is your distant cousin. He talked about you a few times before…" Shringar sat on the chair besides Dr. Nitish's bed and said, "Wait, first you tell me how you know Dr. Nitish?"
Sophie took a breath and slowly exhaled, with that she started, "Dr. Nitish operated on me as he has specialty in pediatric surgery. I almost died but he worked as a savior. My mother is a nurse and she respected him a lot, specially after my case. So we became good acquaintances of Dr. Nitish. He even used to share his troubles with us. He introduced us with his best friend Dr. Janki. We all became really close. But one day Dr. Nitish told us about someone stalking him. But he was not completely sure about it. But then he got the news about you and your family and got really scared so he wanted to report his case as well and wanted to treat you as a doctor as well as a cousin. But before anything could happen, he got kidnapped. No one reported his kidnapping since he lives alone and was in holidays. When we suspected about him being missing, we went to the police but after searching they found Dr. Nitish to be completely fine. Then after a few days he shifted to our colony, which was a surprise. When my mother approached him, he was completely clueless about us so we did not pester him and told Dr. Janki about the situation. Dr. Janki showed us Dr. Nitish's last message to her." Shringar asked, "What was it about?" Sophie's mother said, "They will use Shringar. VeilTus. They are really powerful and they will rule the world. They are especially targeting Shringar…. Save her… Save Shringar and don't trust the doppelganger." Shringar wanted to see the message and Sophie's mother showed her its screenshot. Sophie's mother continued, "After a few weeks we found Dr. Nitish's in this condition in the Shera Pahar's cliff when we went their during Sophie's vacation. This whole incident happened two months ago." Shringar curiously asked, "Why didn't you tell anything to the police? What is going on?" Sophie's mother said, "Dr. Janki asked us to keep it a secret until the time comes. She only wanted you to know about it first. Plus we have no idea about the investigation." Shringar said, "I would very much like to know about Dr. Janki."
Suddenly Sophie's mobile phone rang. It was Dr. Janki. She asked for Shringar and she put the phone on her ear and said, "Hello?". From the other side the person said, "Hello Shringar, I am Dr. Janki and I really need you to be informed about some things. I am definitely sure as you are still in Sophie's house that means you have a little bit of trust on us." Shringar said, "Seems very much logical to me. That is why I am still here. Please tell me what you want to say. And why didn't you tell anything to the police." Dr. Janki said, "My younger brother is in the task force, and he does not want me to get involve in the case even for a second. Secondly, I myself wanted to be sure about the scenario and the safety of Sophie and her mother. Also we need to protect you first. We don't have anything to do with the case. But only for Nitish we need to make sure you stay safe at all cost." Shringar realized the severity of the situation she was in. Shringar asked, "But why me? Why particularly I am the main target?" Dr. Janki said, "We don't know. That is the job of the police to find. So first things first. Do not go back to the fake Dr. Nitish. And secondly I am coming to take you with me so that the fake guy does not get you. Then we will talk to the police." Shringar interrupted, "Wait, this plan has a lot of flaws. Both of you saw a person who broke our window and said a lot of things? He is the officer I am talking about. Due to this incident Dr. Nitish actually got a bit intimidated. So, he will not do anything rash to me just yet." Dr. Janki sighed and said, " Okay Shringar, I will leave this to you on your account only. Also I can help. There is a hacker named Alex Turner. My brother including a hacker from their department named Aditya caught him during a massive college cyber crime ones and got promoted due to it. But Alex was a college student, going to prison would destroy his future and a massive black hat hacking agency was behind most of the problems so my brother let him go and exposed the entire Black hacking agency. It was part of a secret case so it was not on media highlights. But since that time Alex is our friend. He is a young man of around his early 20's. You can ask him for help." Shringar asked, "What kind of help?" Dr. Janki explained, "By hacking into the fake Dr. Nitish's phone and put a GPS in it. Tracking his each footsteps to know where he goes. With GPS we Alex will stay updated about your well being as well." Shringar said, "Alright. It will help." Dr. Janki smiled and said, "Alright but you have to ask him yourself. On google incognito write AHackX.IN and type Alex's code number on the search box to get in touch with him. Even though he is our friend he only helps people when he get interested on the person asking for help. So you have to talk to him yourself also beforehand I will tell him about you." "Tell me his code". Shringar eagerly asked Dr. Janki for Alex's code. "144-025-036-146", Shringar noted it down and Dr. Janki said, "If you don't find him in that code then try another code which only has the first two digits different. "034-025-036-146", he has two different hacking accounts. At any rate he will definitely answer in any one of those. He does not ask for money until the work gets successfully done. But if he gets to know about me and my brother then he won't ask for money. Don't worry initially you just have to play along." Shringar sighed and thanked Dr. Janki. Sophie was not high on the idea of Shringar going back to the doppelgänger. But she could not help. Shringar went back and tried to act as normal as possible, but Dr. Nitish knew something was off. Even Shringar had the clue that she was not acting natural. When Shringar fell asleep Dr. Nitish came back to his room and thought, "Officer Prakash needs to be eliminated. He already caused trouble for me. Shringar's been upset since that point when Officer Prakash did that window thing. Though he repaired the window which he shattered into pieces, but Shringar's trust towards me also shattered in that process and I am not sure if I can repair it…. I am sure she is suspecting me. She is no stupid. Uff! Even a stupid kid would suspect at this point. I must do something soon. No…. Officer Prakash might have his eyes on me like a hawk. I must ask Officer Rani, but she is in a tight spot herself. Should I use my other card? Shringar informed everything about the day to Officer Prakash. From the other side Officer Prakash agreed with Shringar. He also stated, "Hacker Aditya from our dept. tried to put GPS in Dr. Nitish's phone. But it did not work after 20minutes. Plus this is a shock to hear that Dr. Nitish who lives with you is a doppelganger and the original Dr. Nitish is in bedridden condition inside the basement of Sophie's house. This whole thing is a news to me. We will have to take action on this issue. I will contact the Chief. Let's see what she says. But be careful Shringar, I am sure Dr. Nitish has plans in this situation. Shringar, I suggest you to go and spend time with a friend's house and we will send constables to guard the house so that nothing can happen to you. They made a call and Lalit suggested, " Why don't you tell Dr. Nitish about staying in one of our house and actually go to Dr. Janki's place?" Shringar said, "It is okay but I really don't want anyone to get in risk." Sanskar said, " We all are in risk anyway. If the Dr. Nitish you are living with is a doppelganger then he knows everyone of us and he will anyway cause trouble for us, since he is a member of VeilTus and he wants to take everyone of us." Shringar said, "Specially me... I don't know but I think I am a ticking time bomb for everyone." Dorothy said, " Come to my house Shringar. My trauma and testimonies made an impact on the police. Due to which I am under police's surveillance. So don't worry if you come to stay at my house then everything will be fine." Gaurav also said the same but since Gaurav is a boy and Dr. Nitish won't allow her to stay at a boy's house and for some reason Sanskar was also against of it so, in the end it was decided that Shringar will stay at Dorothy's house. The only thing that was left to do was to convince him. Shringar was doubting this idea since she saw the original Dr. Nitish in a bedridden condition. She does not have any clue on what kind of torture might have happened to him. But the thought if it horrified her.
Shringar got up, switched on her lamp, and opened Google's incognito. Typed "AHackX.IN". The website was completely black with everything written with bright red colour as if it was dark web. On the search box Shringar typed the code with hesitation. "144-025-036-146". The website was trying to find Alex and for some reason Shringar became a bit afraid due to the uncertainty. "Turner" was the name of his account and was offline. Two options were given one to either text and another was to call. Shringar went with text.
{Is this Alex Turner? I need to ask for your help.}
Alex got online after a few seconds. He texted back.

Shringar tried to keep things brief.
{Their is a criminal organization called VeilTus. One of its member is posing as my cousin. I am currently living with him but I am planning on leaving as quickly as possible. We need to find out where he goes everyday. The police and the hackers did try to use GPS. But after 20minutes the GPS stopped working.}
After a few minutes of contemplation Alex typed back.

Shringar sent his phone number to Alex. He sent a thumbs up emoji to Shringar and texted back.

Then he immediately went offline.
On the next day while going to school Shringar proposed her plan with Dorothy to Dr. Nitish. He said, "Suddenly? Well, I am not saying it can't be it. But I thought you are a bit reserved. Staying at someone else's house whom you don't know much about… She is not even your classmate. Just a friend of your friend. No matter how much you have grown as friends, still it is odd. Are you afraid of me Shringar?" Shringar smiled and answered, "Yes, I am. And I definitely want to stay away from you. Though Dorothy was the one to propose the idea without knowing anything about Officer Prakash's window breaking incident. But I agreed because of you. I am really sorry Dr. Nitish… I….." Dr. Nitish smiled he got a bit relieved to see Shringar coming clean about her thoughts. He could feel that Shringar still has a bit of trust on him due to which she spilled the truth. Though he did not know how much prepared Shringar is for this conversation. The problem was Dorothy. Dr. Nitish knows that Dorothy has some idea about him being a VeilTus member, plus Officer Rani informed him about a mysterious phone call coming from the telephone booth in front of Dorothy's college. After confronting Dorothy about it by the police, she did not answer and pretended to be clueless. But Dr. Nitish sent a spy behind her and saw her calling from the telephone booth again to the police, but since she noticed the spy, so she went away. Dr. Nitish did plan to eliminate her before, but there are many police constables around her house as guards. So his hands are tied for now. His anger towards Officer Prakash increased. He said, "Well, I will think about it Shringar, because I can not trust anyone around you. They might not be good." Shringar nodded and said, "Without your permission, how can I do anything? You are my only guardian right now." Dr. Nitish felt good by hearing from Shringar that he is at the superior end in this relation. Shringar went inside the school with the dark silence around her atmosphere since the day she woke up with her memory loss issue, and then the supposed Dr. Nitish started to proceed towards the unknown. And the genius hacker Alex Turner proceeds with his deed.
