"Bastard!" Ravi roared and waved his hands furiously, forgetting the fact that he couldn't do anything under the spell-restriction.
Meanwhile, Drai was frozen in place. His gaze was glued to Samara's lifeless eyes.
This was not Drai's first time witnessing death, for he had done so in his vision when he saw the titans get slaughtered. But Samara's death wasn't the same as those titans. Drai had known her personally, and it wasn't even five minutes ago that the woman was still alive and well.
"Finally, my long wait is over," Paul remarked. He let go of his colleague, dropping her body that was still warm to the ground.
Paul took a quick glance at Ravi and Jack before moving his eyes toward Drai.
"Be a good boy and don't resist. I'm sure you wouldn't want your limbs broken," Paul coldly said. His usual friendliness was nowhere to be found.
"Don't listen to the bastard, Drai! Run away now!" Ravi frantically urged.
