It was the evening of the winter show at the Songbird music school. The school was so busy and the environment was filled with so much excitement that you could easily think it was a graduation. Parents, students and teachers littered the school compound, touring the different facilities, visiting the extraordinary gardens or visiting the school cafeteria for something to eat.
Alix was busy too, moving from one class to another to check on the condition of the students, ensure that all musical instruments were working and give a few words of encouragement.
So far, one student had fainted and two had panic attacks. The pressure to perform was more intense they anticipated. This was the first public performance for most of them.
She was giving anti anxiety gum to one of the second year violinists when someone dashed into the classroom and yelled out something that stirred some of the students.
