'Should I get a membership at the training center?' he pondered, considering whether to join the association training center. With that, his training would be easier, and he could train with Aurora there, as using pet abilities in public areas was not allowed.
'Let's see what's changed in her' August thought as he opened Aurora's status.

'Oh, now I get it' August nodded, realizing that he could see his pet's description but not other beasts'. He then browsed through the rest of her status.
'Her rank is now B, and she is a quasi-dragon? And she got a new ability' he couldn't help but smile like a maniac. 'Kekeke... picking her was a good idea.'
He looked at Aurora, who was coiled up on the table, staring at him with a judging eye as if she had seen a mad person.
"Don't stare at me like that; I'm happy for you," August said, avoiding her gaze as he unsummoned her, making her body disappear gradually.
'Let's see the new reward' August thought, focusing his attention on his Beast Space as his consciousness drifted into it.
Inside his Beast Space, the floating island had transformed into an icy landscape. Previously, it had been barren, with nothing but soil. Now, in the middle of the island, stood a proud white crystal statue of a beast. Aurora examined it before turning to look at August, sensing his presence.
The beast statue resembled a combination of a deer and a wolf, with a fox's tail and two horns atop its head. A crack ran down the middle of its forehead, and it majestically stared upward, its eyes conveying a sense of sadness, as if it were alive.
"What a beautiful creature," August exclaimed in amazement.
Curious, he used "inspect" on the statue.

'I now have another reason to gather beast cores' August thought, realizing that he needed to collect beast cores not only for the system points but also to aid in the growth of his beasts using the newly acquired Beast Guardian Statue.

After bidding his mother farewell, August headed to the training center, arriving in just 10 minutes. Upon entering the building, he made his way directly to the reception area, where a large staff member was seated behind the desk, looking visibly annoyed about something.
'How should I approach him?' August began to sweat. If the big guy punched him, he'd be in trouble.

'You can do it, August' he cheered himself on.
Taking a deep breath, he approached the man.
"Um, hi there. I'm thinking about joining the training center. Can I register for membership?" August asked, summoning up his courage.
"Of course, first please show me your adventurer ID," the man requested.
"Yeah, sure," August replied, handing his Beast Tamer ID to the man.
"Hm, a new Beast Tamer? Are you from this year's batch?" the man inquired.
"Yes," August responded with a nod.
"Then you can get a free membership for a week," the man said, smiling.
After completing the registration process, August was asked if he needed a trainer, to which he replied that he didn't for now.
'Let's head to the beast training section' he thought, beginning to make his way towards the area where he could train with his pet.
After finding a quieter spot, he opened his Beast Space, and Aurora emerged by slithering out.
"Let's test out your abilities," he said to Aurora. He couldn't see what the abilities did in the inspect status. When he asked the system about it, the system replied that he could see them if he upgraded the inspect feature to the required level.
"Let's start with a low-rank ability," August instructed.
"Use Ice Spike," he commanded Aurora.
Heeding his command, Aurora activated her ability, materializing an ice spike floating above her. She then manipulated the ice spike, targeting a nearby targeting object with speed. Upon impact, the ice spike shattered into scattering bits in the area.
'It's so powerful. If it hits a target with skin, it will pierce right through' he observed.
"Now, use Mist Veil," August commanded.
Heeding his command, Aurora opened her mouth, spewing mist out and making the area around her misty. She could see inside the mist, and her speed increased.
'Hm, it's a useful ability for camouflage and sneaking up on enemies' August thought, recognizing the usefulness of the ability.
"What is the use of Devour? Is it an ability to devour your enemies alive?" August couldn't help but shiver at the thought of being devoured alive.
Aurora transmitted her thoughts to him, making him realize the true purpose of the ability.
'So it's an ability to digest mana cores more quickly and efficiently, accelerating her development in mana core' August concluded.
After some training with her abilities, Aurora became exhausted, having expended her mana.
"Go to the Beast Space for rest," August instructed, unsummoning Aurora.
"Now, let's complete the daily quest," August decided, starting his training.
After an hour and a half, he completed the quest, excluding the mana circulation.
'I'll complete the mana circulation after I get home' August decided as he prepared to leave.
'Let's buy something Lily likes to eat' he thought, purchasing a chocolate cake for his sister on the way.
