Getting your neck twisted by an unknown person was something no one expected or wanted to happen to them. This usually made one weak, and that was how Xavier felt.
Opening his eyes, he immediately touched his neck as it ached. "How am I still alive?" he thought to himself.
He scanned his surroundings. He wasn't tied up, and his body was perfectly alright.
"Chainy, where the heck am I?" Xavier asked curiously in his mind.
[Still in the dungeon]
"I see."
Just then, he heard a growl and stood up immediately, ready for an attack. But none came; instead, a huge footstep approached.
THUD! THUD! THUD!
The sound of the steps resounded, stronger and louder, sending shivers down Xavier's spine.
