A while ago...
As Michail and Fimana left Kiyo and Eden on their own, they went to the dorm and packed up their stuff before leaving the school. The time passed by, Michail was waiting outside the door, waiting for Fimana to pack up her stuff.
"AHHHH!!!" The scream comes from beyond the door along with loud noise, Michail rushes in thinking anything happened to Fimana. When he breaks the door down, he sees the sight of Fimana on the floor surrounded by her clothes including underwear and stuff.
"Uuu..." The sight made anyone pitiful on Fimana. Michail, sighed as he picked up Fimana's clothes.
...
"That's all, we're leaving this place. Let's go, Fimana." Michail grabbed her hand as they left through the hallway.
...
Michail and Fimana managed to get out of the school. Currently walking inside the forest that leads to the town. But, he couldn't believe the sight he just saw then...
"Wha-" Michail noticed the smoke that flew into the dark skies. The smell of burning also went passed his smelling sense. And including the horde of civilians who's running passed them. In an instant, Michail knew what was happening as he grabbed Fimana's hand and ran alongside the civilian.
At the moment, Michail didn't know the appearance of the bandit raiding the town. And he also didn't have knowledge about the bounty on their head. But his instinct tells him something dangerous is attacking this town.
(Why at times like this... Was it a coincidence? Either way, I need to take Fimana to a safe place. Or, we're leaving this town as fast as we can.)
Michail wasn't sure what's the right choice it could be. Until then, his mind wandered until he saw the child was trapped under the rubble. Michail looked left, and then to the right. The civilian running seems to have left the area. Which is there's nobody can help the child now.
(Damn it...)
Michail couldn't help it as he dragged Fimana alongside him towards the child.
"Uuuuu... Mom... Dad..." The child was crying as he was trapped under the rubble, Michail let go of Fimana's hand and lifted up the rubble, freeing the child from it.
"Hang with me! We're going to find your parents-" Michail noticed the child was staring at something as he pointed at it. It seems the child wasn't the only one who was trapped under the rubble. In fact, the sight of a pale arm and a pool of blood under it tells Michail that whoever is under there hasn't survived.
Will their fate change if he comes a bit sooner? Michail clicked his tongue as he lifted the child from the scene along with Fimana.
"WAAAAA!!! MOM!!! DAD!!!"
(Tch! Damn it!)

Michail sees a few civilian goes inside the large building. As he arrives at the main door, he sees people going to the lower floor. It seems that's where all civilians were going in case the bandit was attacking. Meanwhile, the child hasn't stopped crying, the noise made Michail's stress go high as he shouts at the child.
"Stop crying for god sake!" Even so, it seems like the child didn't intend to lower his voice. And then, Fimana slowly took the child from Michail.
"Fear not, you're safe now. Although, it's unfortunate that they had to leave you early. But, you must be strong, and when you'll have a chance meet your mom and dad again. Tell them your story as you grew up... So they can be an assurance that their child can do anything by himself."
The aura of silver flows from Fimana's hand, creating a small bird flying around the child's head. The child soon fell asleep on Fimana's chest. Michail who saw the scene couldn't help but sigh once again. A few seconds later, his instinct immediately tells him that the danger is coming.
Michail uses his nails to scratch his finger, thus the silver blood flowing out from his body as it's creating a large shield.
"Silver Knight!" Michail was able to protect Fimana and the child from the fire that was aiming at them.
"Fimana! Take the child inside!" Fimana, without saying a word, lifted up the child as she went inside the building. Michail is relieved for a moment, and then he turns around to the one who's launching a fire on him. The girl wearing a witch hat, smiled vividly as she jumped down from the roof.
"My my, what a strong vitality comes out from your body. Mind... if this big sis have a taste of it?" Michail didn't react to the woman's tease. Instead, he changed his giant shield to a silver sword with no hilt. As he walked forward, he gave a response to the woman.
"I'm sorry, but I'll prefer to be single, also slut like you is far from being my type." The provocation makes the woman's mood bad as her voice goes deeper.
"Ah, is that so? That's a shame, I also don't really like bastards like you..." A fire appeared behind the woman, soon to launch towards Michail. Michail evaded it as he made his way to the woman. Michail managed to close his distance from the woman, but at the same time, he was interrupted by someone who had also jumped off the roof.
Michail barely dodged the guy as he created a shockwave that sent him back. One look, Michail is not sure what it is since he has a different skin color from humans. Basically an unknown creature.
(What the hell? What race it is from?)
The dark brown color, with no head. Instead, it was replaced by some kind of balloon with orange liquid inside of it.
(No matter, I'll cut him down before he does anything!)
2 seconds passed, and Michail cut the creature in an instant. But, the consequence overtakes him when he's not aware.
*BOOM!*
"What?!" As soon as Michail cuts the creature down, it immediately explodes right in front of him. The woman laughed as she witnessed the explosion in front of him.
"HAHAHAHA That's what you get when you dare to be rude in front of a witch apprentice! NALIDA!" Seconds later, the witch who claimed her name to be Nalida was speechless when he saw Michail come out from an explosion.
Michail, covers himself with silver blood like how Ryuma covers himself with earth magic, he manages to minimize the damage that explosion has done to his body. Nalida, smiled as more of the same type of creature dropped from the roof.
"Doesn't matter, you're only lucky to survive from The Torch. But, the second time, I'll assure you won't..."
