As soon as Hayden arrived at the venue his father had sent him, he spotted him. He was sipping coffee as he waited for him. He didn't seem impatient whatsoever.
"Father." As soon as he arrived to his side, Hayden called out to him.
"Son." Mr. Miller stood up and walked to his side before giving him a bear hug. He was his son, and he loved him so much.
"How have you been?" After disengaging from the hug, Mr. Miller asked as they took their seats. It's been several weeks since the two; Ayla and Hayden came back from abroad. It'd also bedn long since they saw each other, considering Hayden and Ayla were always cooped up in the hospital with a series of surgeries to perform.
"We are doing great." Hayden said with a smile. He knew what his father was thinking deep down. He so wanted Ayla to visit them soon again.
"I'll bring Ayla to visit soon." Hayden said after thinking for a while. They just had to look for time and visit the Miller mansion.
