*Chapter 31: Made up*
It's been three days since the disagreement between Hayden and Ayla, and it was taking a toll on him. Hayden stood in his bedroom before the window with a cigar between his fingers as he stared at the city , which was bustling with activity before him. He wondered what he could do to remedy the situation between Ayla and him.Not seeing her around was almost driving him insane.
On Saturday, it was a weekend, so Ayla didn't go to school. She spent half of her day doing the assignments they had been given. She didn't even notice when lunchtime arrived until the housekeeper reminded her. She politely requested the housekeeper yo bring her food upstairs. She hadn't gathered the confidence to meet him yet.
"Enjoy your food, Miss." After laying the table for Ayla, the housekeeper welcomed her with a smile.
"Thank you, I will." Ayla said and smiled back at the housekeeper, who then excused herself.
