It seems that they are still role playing
Sasuke couldn't use Chakra as freely as before after getting the cursed seal. It was a little painful but it was bearable. He could still use Chakra thanks to the treatment of Sakura but not in a very large quantity. So he carefully used it to set a trap with his track making skills. Exploding tags along with various kunais and shurikens were setted up for ambush. Even though Naruto was a newbie, he managed to set up a few paralysis seals around the area cutting of their way to escape.
I setted up traps using paralysis poisons and contract seals.
The contract seals I have created, can only come into play in a specific circumstances. Those contract seals, was inspired from the pacts of jujutsu kaisen.
These seals activates in a specific circumstances.
For now I have created two types of contract seals.
The first one takes away the opponent's ability to use Chakra outside the body. But the opponent must attack the seal itself.
The second one was more powerful. But the condition was also harsh.
The second one will restrict anyone's ability to mold Chakra inside a specific area. But that someone must use a wide ranged jutsu in that area in order to activate the contract.
The last one has been created by taking a certain antihero cum villian, with his name starting with 'O' in mind.
But that thing aside, given perfect circumstances the first one could come in handy too.

Team Kabuto sound itself in a very bad spot. The events were not suppose to go like this. He has infiltrated the T & I building and stool in the scheduled and the program of the chunin exams. He had made sure that no one will find out about it. But somehow they changed every event so far. As far as he could remember, Kabuto has done a clean job. But it seems that somehow Morino caught the wind of something happening fishy.
The changing of the program in the first exam was not an issue. All the team they have wanted has passed. It would have been better if more number of teams have passed the examination. But it wasn't a problem has they have already prepared for any type of incident.
Orochimaru sama has decided to infiltrate the second round of chunin selection examination despite the change in program. As they didn't change the venue itself, Orochimaru sama has decided to take the risk.
In this second part of the examination his team was stuck with a disguised chunin, playing client. So Orochimaru sama has secretly given them another task. They will have to search for team seven and hand them over the chunin without raising any suspicion.
But it was easier said then done. Kabuto wasn't proficient with genjutsu even with his superior chakra control. And fooling a chunin with an ordinary C or D ranked genjutsu won't be easy.
While Kabuto has been brain storming about how to hand over the 'client' to the team 7, unknown to him, team 7 was already busy making his task very easy.

'Shit !' I cursed at our bad luck. Kabuto has spotted us. I didn't know how but I felt the flicker of chakra he deliberately sent towards my direction while looking at me as if saying hello.
I immediately notified Naruto and Sasuke with secret code signs we have created for silent communication and told them to be prepared for any unforeseen circumstances.
But I was surprised when they fell for the traps of Naruto and Sasuke easily. I didn't even got to test out my trap.
'Did Orochimaru asked them to handover the client ?
Or Kabuto is still playing his role of a highly skilled medic nin who is clumsy at everything else that does not involve medical ninjutsu.

AN: Sorry for the short chapter. Actually I had to rewrite this chapter because I was not satisfied with the previous draft. I had written some action where team Kabuto and team 7 faced of with each other. But it would have created a loop hole for what I have planned in the chunin exams. I have planned something big with Kabuto and Sakura. And it would have been ruined with this face off. So I had to rewrite this bland chapter.
But don't worry. You will see a good twist in the dynamics of two medic nins in the future.
