Teresa's eyes fluttered open, her senses slowly adjusting to the dim light filtering through the grand window of the room. The bed beneath her was luxurious, the sheets soft against her skin.
Yet, the ultimate comfort was lost on her when she was still finding it hard to breath in this atmosphere. Maybe a day or two and her lungs would finally adjust.
Taking in a deep breath, holding it and letting it go. Teresa repeated this small exercise a few time as she sat up. The bed was large enough to accommodate three to four people easily, though it was only the two of them.
She noticed Sia stirring beside her, blinking in confusion.
"Where...?" Sia started, but her voice trailed off as she took in their surroundings, realization dawning up on her face as she looked around rubbing her eyes to clear her view.
