The mood shifted around the room. Well, it was not very chirpy to begin with, however when his words resonated thru the girls, it left a sour feeling bubbling behind, as if being discovered by a monster.
Having just experienced what it feels like to be found by flesh hungering monsters, they can successfully attest to the fact that this feeling now was much worse. They were here for their flesh; he was here for their souls.
