I think I should say something before you read this story. 

I've been writing novels since 2020, I guess. I didn't publish those novels since that was for practice only. And all of those were CN-based, as were all the settings. I want to publish this story on Baidu Read (a well-known Chinese reading app), but I need a Chinese number, so...  

I wrote ASTF (A Song to Forget) in 2022, and since at that time I was so addicted to academic rivals and the entertainment industry, I was like, Why don't I write something with these settings and plot? And ta-da, that's how ASTF was created.

1. This won't be a rebirth, transmigration, or system kind of novel (I wish this was). 

2. Volume 1 will be about Chi Yun's high school experience; Volume 2 will be about the entertainment industry.

3. This story is a mix of romance, mystery, and comedy. 

4. I hope you enjoy the story just as much as I enjoy writing it (not really). I hope it makes you laugh, feel, and smell the sweetness of romance, and that it makes you wish to experience love like for the first time, cry, and feel heartache (oops, did I spoil).

5. I love Chi Yun and Wang Zhanyan so much, and I hope you too will grow to like them.
