Huntingtague Grove, Ogre Nest, Time: 2:40 PM

"WAAAH!" Sunop ran as fast as he could. The ogre started throwing boulders, with each one getting closer and closer to him.

"Clown God, protect me!" He yelled as he got closer to the cage, the boulder every step closer to crushing him.

The ogres grabbed all of their clubs, leaving a giant stick for one last ogre. "Oh, come on, man! Fine..." he accepted that he had to wield it.

"Come on, come on!" Sunop frantically tried to unlock the cages; all the ogres were stomping their way toward the cages in fury, which made Sunop even more fearful.

"Ah! Got it!" Sunop said in joy as he unlocked the cage.

"Oh, thank you! We're going to get crushed, though." The steampunk man stated as he watched the ogres come stomping at them.

"Listen, man, It's a nice attempt, but this is the end of the line for us." He hugged Sunop, and as he returned it, the ogre was about to stomp them.

"AAAAAAAAAA." Both of them screamed as the end was about to come and take them away.

"Heart Pulse!

A heart projectile went toward the ogres and exploded in a pink color. The one who created that projectile was Elizabeth herself as she fixed her hair back. "You guys sure are hopeless..."

Jhoan and Elizabeth decided to run over to Sunop and the steampunker. "Oh my god, my hero-o-o." Sunop was relieved that he was saved.

"Come on, let's get you out of here!′ Jhoan started to wear his golden gauntlets.

"Na! I have got to repay you somehow! Bring me to the crashed aircraft!" The steampunker said as all of them were confused about what an 'Aircraft' was.

"Is it something you eat with?" Jhoan asked, it seemed delicious and nerdy.

"Ya, guys don't know what an aircraft is?!" He realized that these people weren't like the people from his hometown, so he decided to point at the crashed aircraft.

"Bring me to that! I need to grab my stuff, so guard me, ya heard?" The steampunker said as everyone went to the aircraft.

"Get up, my brother! We need to kill them!" The ogre said as he grabbed his fellow brother's hand and got him right back up.

"Here they come!" Jhoan said as he ran toward them, this time with no fear. He'd jumped up into the air and prepared his attack.

"Stepping Quake!"

He stomped both of his feet into the ground, creating a massive shockwave that blew most of the ogres away.

"Why you!" The ogre swung his club at Jhoan, in which he blocked it and punched it away.

"Elephant's Headbash!" Jhoan was covered in a grayish aura and decided to rush toward the ogre, which he crashed into them, flinging them away, "Come at me!"

Some of the ogres decided not to engage, "Oh, we can handle the twink but the strong one? No way, brother," and went after Sunop and Elizabeth.

"Zap! Zap! Zap!" Elizabeth kept summoning her heart projectile, which she threw at the ogres, causing explosions everywhere!

One of the ogres decided to swing at Sunop. It missed, and Sunop was standing on the clubs, "Missed me! Want to try again for a coin?" He taunted, which made the ogre angry as he punched the club.

"Have you tried aiming?" Sunop relaxed on the ogre's shoulders and kicked the ogre's eyes, making them scream in pain and cover his eyes.

When the ogre screamed, Sunop decided to drop another prize bomb into his mouth, "See ya!" Sunop waved his hand and dropped down onto the ground. The prize bomb went off, and the ogre started to freeze up into an ice statue.

"Hehe!" Sunop giggled before another ogre tried to sneak attack, which he dodged to the side with a yawn.

"Circus Energy Wave!" Sunop summoned a red and yellow energy wave at the ogre, dazzling it.

The steampunker was looking into his wrecked aircraft, a lot of the engines were bulging out everywhere, still sparking inside.

"Oh, to the ever-living hell, Petronilla gonna kill me..." He found a backup robotic hand for his left mission arms, which he attached back up. He clenched his teeth in pain as he finished the operation.

"System booted. Welcome back, Caramels Heserlaton."

Caramels leaned his head back to have a breather before he went, "I'm going to get used to this if they decide to rip my hands again." Caramels muttered to himself as he tried to relax a bit from his operation.

He looked over at the safe before he started inputting a code to unlock it, revealing a shiny red toolbox.

"Alright, time to get to work." Caramels grabbed the toolbox, put it on his shoulder, and got ready for battle.

Everyone was engaged in their battles—Jhoan punching the ogres, Sunop playing dirty tricks, and Elizabeth shooting magic projectiles. The ogres were struggling at this point, but one of them decided they had had enough.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS! ME WILL CRUSH THAT SMALL GIRL RIGHT NOW!" The ogre quickly stomped toward Elizabeth, catching her off-guard. She threw a heart projectile at him, but he seemed unfazed, determined to strike her down.

"DIE, SMALL GIRL." The ogre prepared to swing his club at Elizabeth, who closed her eyes, bracing for the impact.

"ELIZA!" Jhoan yelled, running toward her as fast as he could. The ogre was about to slam his club down when, miraculously, it stopped right before hitting Elizabeth.

"..."

"Huh?" Elizabeth opened her eyes, confused. She saw the ogre with multiple bullet wounds.

A voice saying, "Ain't going to let you hit a princess, partners." It was the steampunker with his left hand restored, wielding a gear-shotgun. Iron pipe-like sentry guns stood by his side.

"Hit 'em where it hurts!" Caramels ordered, and the sentry guns started firing at the ogre, leaving it with multiple bullet holes.

Charging his shotgun with electricity, Caramels jumped on top of the sentry gun, propelled himself into the ogre, and blasted it with his shotgun.

The ogre jolted from the electrical shocks, unable to handle the pain, and ultimately succumbed.

The other ogres were petrified, looking at the humans they had captured in fear. Caramels addressed them, "Well if you want to end up like this fella here, go right ahead." The ogres decided not to engage in combat and ran away in fear.

Caramels, after putting up his sentry guns again, deconstructed upon the hit, went to check on Elizabeth. Jhoan was already there, asking, "Princess, are you alright?"

Elizabeth reassured him, "Oh, you silly goof, I am alright."

Sunop, however, was starry-eyed, gazing at Caramels and remarking, "So cool..."

Elizabeth sought Caramels' attention, saying, "Um... Excuse me." When he turned to look at her, she expressed her gratitude, "Thank you so much for saving me."

Caramels bluntly responded, "No problem, that's what guardians are supposed to do anyway."

Jhoan, surprised that Caramels was also a guardian, asked, "Hey, tech guy. You're a guardian too?"

Caramels, scratching his head, replied, "Yup, fresh from steampunk island. Not my brightest start if my aircraft dropped into an Ogre Nest," jokingly acknowledging his unfortunate crash.

Now that he was surrounded by these potential new allies, Caramels straight-up asked, "Now, this might sound like a demand, but can I join you guys?" He didn't have anyone else, and the group gladly welcomed him.

Jhoan was puzzled, "What? You were going as a guardian on your own?"

Caramels explained, "Well, none of my friends is interested in doing it, so I decided to go alone instead." There was a tinge of sadness in his voice about his friend's absence.

"Well, we'll be your friend! You can join us!" Sunop enthusiastically declared, and Elizabeth agreed with a smile.

Grateful for the company, Caramels introduced himself, saying, "Thanks a bunch, my name's Caramels, by the way."

Caramels, feeling a bit famished as the ogres hadn't fed him, felt a pang of embarrassment as he rubbed his head.

He sheepishly asked Jhoan for a favor, "Can we head into a nearby town first? Kinda hungry."

Jhoan chuckled, "Oh? Sure! Let's celebrate our new members by eating!" The group cheered in delight, and Caramels couldn't help but smile at the lively bunch.

As they set off, he looked at his hands, where the destroyed robot lay.

"Maybe these people can be great to be with, Clyde," he thought, storing it back into his pocket, spinning his shotgun around, and letting it rest on his shoulder.
