Half an hour later, Issho slowly climbed aboard the warship, tapping the ground with his staff as he did so.
"The mission is over, everyone return."
After boarding, and once the gangway was secured, Issho issued the order.
With the command given, the warship quickly turned and set sail towards the direction of the open sea.
"Let me go, let me go! Do you know who I am!?"
"I'm telling you, if you dare to stop me, when we return to Mary Geoise, I'll have you all killed!"
At that moment, a noisy voice reached Issho's ears, causing him to furrow his brow. The longer he served in the Navy, the stronger his aversion to Celestial Dragons became.
Soon enough, using his status as a Celestial Dragon, Samofeld rushed towards Issho and Yukimura, standing tall in front of them.
Looking up at the two much taller figures, Samofeld arrogantly commanded, "I order you two to go and kill Nicholas for me!"
Clearly feeling empowered aboard the warship, Samofeld spoke brazenly.
Yukimura could only scratch his head in exasperation and glanced at Issho.
He wasn't stupid. Having spent time with the three natural disasters from Headquarters, he knew just how terrifying Nicholas was. Did they want him to go kill Nicholas because they thought he had too much time on his hands?
"Sir, we are still in danger. For someone like Nicholas, this distance is nothing; he could cross it in an instant. Moreover, in weather like this, Nicholas's strength could increase dramatically. If we anger him, everyone on this ship might end up fish food."
Seemingly to echo Yukimura's words, thunder rumbled in the sky, causing Samofeld to involuntarily shrink his neck.
Meanwhile, Nicholas looked on at the departing warship, lost in thought. He hadn't expected Sengoku to have his own plans as well. Things were getting more interesting indeed.
....
"BOOM!"
The deafening thunder resounded, and lightning streaked across the sky, illuminating the faces of father and son, filled with astonishment.
Seeing the unease and incredulity on the man's face, as well as the excitement on the face of the young man, Nicholas was silent, seemingly able to fulfill their wishes.
"You say you want to go to the Sky Island?"
Nicholas asked in confusion.
"Yes!"
The young man nodded heavily, looking at the gathering clouds on the horizon as if behind them lay the most beautiful thing imaginable.
"Sir, although this request is sudden, we hope you can help us. We are willing to pay all the wealth we have accumulated over the years."
The man said solemnly, emptying the bag by his feet. Soon, a small mountain of gold appeared at his feet.
Having heard Nicholas's words, the man was convinced, having pored over Roland's diary entries about Skypiea and the specific timeframes.
Afterwards, they reviewed records about this sea area from both their local area and the surrounding islands, finally discovering that shortly after Roland left Skypiea, a huge upwelling current appeared in this sea area.
That upwelling current was created by the clash between the sea and the earth's forces. If the upwelling current was powerful enough, it could send Skypiea soaring to ten thousand meters in the sky.
So, based on the information they had gathered, the man was convinced of Nicholas's words. Perhaps their ancestor, the Great Noland, could finally be vindicated by them.
However, while they knew where Skypiea might be, the question of how to get there was a new problem.
With all their hopes now pinned on Nicholas, the two fell into a short silence, the sea breeze causing their robes to flutter.
"This gold should be enough for your ship fare."
Nicholas said, looking at the gold on the ground. After all, he also had to go to Skypiea, so bringing these two descendants of Noland along shouldn't be a problem, and maybe they could help a lot.
Ten minutes later, when the man and his son were wondering how to reach ten thousand meters high, a huge ship broke through the clouds and slowly descended from the sky.
Seeing this scene, both the father and Cricket, were stunned.
"Don't just stand there, get on board."
After saying this, Nicholas walked towards the Sea Sovereign ship, and the others followed suit.
Accompanied by the rumble of thunder, the Sea Sovereign soon broke through the White Sea, the ocean entirely composed of white clouds.
However, this wasn't their destination. Looking at the sky, Nicholas pondered silently.
In the blink of an eye, the Sea Sovereign passed through the White Sea and reached the surface of the White Sea.
"It's really amazing!"
Watching the various creatures leaping from the White Sea, almost everyone leaned over the ship's railings. It was likely that many of them had never imagined that above their heads, there was another "ocean."
"People With wings on their backs… We are definitely on Sky Island."
Standing at the bow of the ship, looking at the people of Skypiea, Nicholas smiled.
Ignoring the panic on sky Island caused by the sudden appearance of the huge ship, Nicholas turned his gaze towards the distance, where there were dense green forests, flying birds, and a towering vine in the centre of the forest.
"That's the other half of Jaya Island."
With a glint in his eye, Nicholas smiled.
