"hello, is anybody here" I heard a loud hoarse voice outside the house.i gave Dante a quick glance.sarah stood up to answer the door but Dante grabbed my hand and whispered to her not to say we are here or ever sited us.she nodded before proceeding to open the door.
"um how can I help you".
"we are um looking for someone very important and the person happened to get lost in the wood.by any chance,did you see a male and a female around here" I recognize the voice as that of one of Luca's bodyguard that harassed us.i wanted to stand up but Dante pulled me to the kitchen and covered my mouth with his hand so I won't be able to talk.
"oooohh,you must be the police right?"
".......yes we are"
"thanks goodness,I was even thinking about to call the police"
what in the world is she saying!!!!!
"four days ago I went to the farm with my husband and we found blood trails up the hill.i was so frightened.they might have been eating by bear or something urghhh even the thought is still disgusting me." she tried to sound like she was actually petrified.my heart beat had skipped a beat when I thought she wanted to cast us out.
"oh, which hill?"
"the northern hill"
"thank you very much ma'am for your time and help"
"it was no problem."
"Goodbye"
we waited for a moment to be sure that the had gone far before coming out.i immediately collapsed on the chair.
"do you two know those people,why are they looking for you?" John asked.
"well,they were sent by my parents to find us but if we go with them they'll separate us and I don't know what my parents will do to Alisa" Dante said deciding to go along with the old lie.
Sarah and John both now have a sympathetic look on their face.
"I think for a while,you two shouldn't go out.just stay inside." John said
"but what about the farm" Dante inquired.
"I can take care of it perfectly without any problem."
behind the facade of sadness Dante put on his face,it was pretty clear that he was happy he wasn't going to work on the farm.........
