'...'
"What could I use to call this World?"
"America?... That's a very good option, but I'll forget why I named it this way."
"Mhm. I remember there was a certain book that was popular around the world during my days."
"If I remember correctly, it was the story of a man going to pre colonial Africa. Apparently, he likes the african culture and names a tribe with a special name."
Ayisha walked around the shack, doing some exercises here and there.
Some days have passed and she still could not remember the book name.
Forgeting for now what to name this world, Ayisha focused on her meditation.
When she was eating, in her sixth month here, she had a thought.
'I got here in February, right? If I have counted the numbers right, it must be July.'
'Should I try and create a new calendar?'
She walked to where her drawings were, just to see that the shack had magically 'regenerated'.
Epiphany.
Immortal.
Magic.
Gods.
Planets.
Florests.
Cells.
What do they all have in common?
Most of them need something to exist.
That's what she thought.
But, what if, only if, she could be the exception?
What if she could exist in a dimension, when she was supposed not to?
"O daughter of Babylon, what could I do?"
"When even the Heavens put me down"
"Against my own will"
"O daugthter of Babylon"
She remembered a page of the book.
"Your mother will be greatly ashamed"
"She, who bore you will be put to shame"
"Behold my power"
"As I name this place"
"The land of the dried ones."
She can't name this place after a long gone country of Earth.
That's against all laws and morals.
With that letter, she might try and name this weird world with some of her knowlegde.
"Latin and this world language. Sounds fun."
6 months have passed.
Ayisha is now 8-years-old.
The shack can regenerate almost everything.
With her weird experiments, about 1 year of provisions are gone.
There is now food for only the next 3 years.
She'll be 11 by then.
"Food is scarce in the mountain. It's impossible to try and grow crops here."
"Like an immortal and a god, is there no way to create a body that does not need anything?"
"I have to try and make something by the end of this new year. I only have my adult mind to help now. I believe that I'll have to destroy my mind palace to hold new information."
Ayisha did not eat anything for the next 4 weeks. Absolutely nothing entered her body.
She was doing an experiment with her as the test subject.
At the same time, she never was in the shack. Always outside, in the ever-flowing snowy mountain.
Her skin was pale, it was possible to see her bones, her sackcloth clothe was in its final breathes.
Thud.
What?
Thud.
Again.
Thud.
Huff. Clang.
Crunch.
There was an idiot climbing the mountain.
But Ayisha could not see who it was, because she had passed out, again.
