The problem probably lies in the lack of gratification. That was what Marcus made himself believe. It was the lack of action that he saw Fil differently than he should have. Therefore, since Michael was kind enough to share his hunt, Marcus would gladly satisfy himself for the night.
If he did, things would be better. He would be less confused and he wouldn't have to wonder about another man's woman. He wouldn't get teased or excited by the mere thought of her attention. His dilemma was nothing but a simple problem that could be fixed so easily.
Thus, Marcus didn't waste a second as he drove himself and the woman whose name he didn't know to the nearest hotel. Even before they could reach their room, he and the woman already started making out in the elevator. He unleashed all the pent-up hunger, like a starving beast who hadn't had a meal for a long time.
He didn't care who would see them in the elevator as if this held great importance to him.
