"Do you find it amusing?" Jackson whispered, playing with her stray hairs with his fingertips. "That we can survive without taking off our clothes? Because I do."
The corner of his mouth curled up as his eyelids drooped, staring at her affectionately. After teasing her for a bit, Fil scribbled on her paper like a madwoman. She didn't talk to him. Even if she would, she would glare daggers at him. It was cute, giving him a good laugh now and then. Until she eventually fell asleep on top of her paper.
"I thought you were a hard worker?" he wondered. "You used to pull all-nighters, go on without sleep for days. And yet, just writing what you want to experience made you sleep."
Jackson carefully pulled the paper underneath her arms. As he did so, he accidentally ripped the tip of the paper, making him stop for a moment. He glanced at her. She was still sound asleep.
