Chapter 4 - Anticipated Disturbance

Brayden and Jaxtyn where still walking in the schools hallway like their royal highnesses with not a fear in mind or care in the world. Silence ensue between the two of them until Jaxtyn recollected a realization and then decided to struck up starting a conversation between them.

"Dude, that reminds me that you haven't told me how dope and cool your summer holiday was" Jaxtyn figured looking at him as they walked in the same space like their legs were one.

"Well, that's because it wasn't really dope or cool as you're thinking it was" Brayden responded smoothly keeping a straight face and not turning to face him.

"What do you mean?" Jaxtyn asked clearly confused. "You didn't do anything?"

Brayden chuckled slightly before quietly muttering, "You think the old man would give me a break to catch some stupid or useless fun even if it's for once no, Jaxtyn"

Jaxtyn knew Brayden grandfather well as he was a man of authority like a devil that ruled not only the underworld but the entire universe. The man was as ruthless as he was harsh that he himself could never think of crossing without after a sign of respect. He was a God that almost everyone fear and flee just at the sight of him alone. People were heck a lot scared and frightened by him to . Well, everyone except Brayden his grandson who doesn't seem to be sheer away by his very cold domineering aura as he was so much bold enough to be calling him an old man. Something no one would dare or agree to do even if they were giving so much of a go ahead from him to be called by that.

"So, you were just simply working through out the whole thing?" Jaxtyn could only ask as he couldn't help his keen curiosity.

"Every damn time yo" Brayden answered so easily escaping a sigh.

They finally reached down the end of the hallway and where on about mounting the stairs that led up through the seven floors of the schools buildings. Brayden was about asking Jaxtyn how different his own summer holiday was to his when a careless girl practically ran passed hitting the great him without even turning to apologize much profusely after doing that. He watched Jaxtyn as he stared after the girl expecting him to address the girl for her rudeness but he didn't so he decided to by himself.

"Hey you" Brayden's cold as ice voice rang out calling out to the girl as she walked more onwards with no thoughts of what she've just done. But then, the girl who very likely probably wasn't hearing or seemed to notice him behind her and was much in a haste to get somewhere quickly kept walking ignoring him. Then, he saw that she waved her hands back at them as if to say sorry but he didn't think it was that because the way she did it was like she meant whatever. He couldn't let this one go or slide away easily as it was much of a shame to his egocentric character. He was about running after her to catch up with her when Jaxtyn stopped him.

"Just let it go, Brayden" He said with his hands on Brayden's shoulder not looking at him but at the girl who was hurriedly climbing the stairs now. Then, Jaxtyn turned to face him as he looked at him dumbstruck that he was allowing a girl having the guts to do this to feared them. "I have to go do something now I'll see you later on, okay?" He said quickly patting his back.

Brayden then watched Jaxtyn hurriedly climb the stairs as if running on it till he'd dispersed from his sight. He guessed he was now in the mood for attending one of his many classes. He sighed cursing under his breaths after he'd left because he was much of a great, helping and comforting company. After being rooted on that abandoned spot for a while, he obviously regained senses as he walked up the stair way kind of in a foul mood. It took not much time till they got to his private lounge of a room that no other person could enter except him and Jaxtyn alone.

They used the place to pass and while away the time of the long days. It was something as their man cave as it was for the both of them but mainly Brayden's. One of his guards quickly got the door of the room on arrival to it for him and he walked into the large air conditioned and electrified cabin. The place was really state of the art having all the comfort of home as it was damn large. It had all the wants of a man like a huge square TV, lots of video games, a pool table, basket ball hoop and a personal to self bar. It was hell legit and awesome.

Brayden threw his jacket on a couch and collapsed into the soft foam of the cushion. He laid his head and cramped neck at the chair's head rest. His guards then took their stations secludedly around the spacious room surrounding him. His mouth watered as it was damn dried and he felt the need to take in some liquid. So, he stood up walking to his private bar and poured himself some red alcoholic wine. Sipping in the refreshing taste, he sighed delightedly and walked by to the couch he now once stood from. He rested sitting back down intending to drink to the brinks. Although, just a glass wasn't quite enough to get him drunk or much to stupor.

A couple of minutes later, Brayden was done sipping all the drink from the glass and felt totally bored. Then, he picked up the remote from the middle table that was before him and decided to help himself by watching some TV but he found nothing much interesting. So, he tuned on his video games changing his decision to play games instead but it wasn't thrilling or exciting as it was meant to be. Anyway, he got up from the couch again deciding to play some basket ball as it was his favorite sport and he was officially Royalty Academy number one alone point guard. The very best player and head captain of the team.

As Brayden stood in his room mini court, he bounced the ball repeatedly and was ready to aim for getting it into the hoop when his phone rang suddenly. Then, he growled gritting his perfect teeth before fishing out the phone angrily out of his pocket to see who has the nerve as to bother him on the only day he'd to do whatsoever he wanted. He sighed tiredly when he'd founded out the identity of the caller who else but the old man would have the boldness to disturb him. Hell he'd known that the man won't give much of break from anything and would control hassling him. He stared at his number on the screen of the phone wondering what he wanted this time. He'd told him vehemently to not always call or phone him while he was in school but the man wouldn't pay heed to it as all he wanted was to disturb him about something every now and then. He decided he wouldn't pick up the call at all and that the man should keep wasting up his time and credit like he knew he didn't have enough. His grandfather had more than a lot of the credit though, but not the time as he easily ran out of patience quickly. He figured it won't be long before he gave up so he dropped the phone and continue his aim for the ball to get in through the hoop.

About twenty minutes later on, Damn! Brayden thought clenching his fist in fit of rage the man has still kept on calling up until now it was unlike him. The sound of the ringing phone kept disturbing, annoying and distracting him as he losed his focus on what he'd wanted to do. Just when he'd enough and wanted to silence the phone by switch it off for the time being the man finally decided to stop calling at that very moment.

Dumbstruck, Brayden calmly retreated his phone back into his pocket and didn't give the act much of a thought. He drifted his focus back to the hoop and just when he was about throwing the ball for the aim at it. Then, Draven his private and chief security bodyguard came and stood in the front of his preventing him from firing his shot. He glared at him with his face as cold as death but the man who he himself could be death stood unfazed by his look.

"What do you want? Why're you bothering me?" Brayden demanded from the man infuriated trying so hard to keep his anger in check and under control.

"Young master, the master called me just now and said if you don't want your access to the forms or materials of the families wealth to be cut of blocked in the next three seconds then you know very well what to do" Declan calmly responded to him void of any emotions and then he walked away with his hands in the pocket of his trousers leaving Brayden a bit confused and dumbfounded as he was watched him go without him telling him to.
