Stepping out of his room, he found some luggage in the living room. It seems like someone just recently came here. As he took the luggage ready to open it, a person appeared in front of him in a flash and took away the luggage in front of him.
"What the— Speedro? What are you doing here?"
Eirik thought that the luggage would be his clothes or something that the government provided, after all he would be under their supervision for the next few months or even years until they found the whereabouts of his uncle.
"This is my house, obviously I am supposed to be here."
"Wait— what? Is this your house?"
As Eirik started analyzing all the information he just got from the simple conversation between him and Speedro, does that mean that Speedro is from the government?
Why was he in jail if he got connections in the government?
"Agent Patel is my half-brother."
"Oh, that explains why."
'So this was Agent Patel's house.'
Government wouldn't usually give a luxurious house to a person that was under supervision, and the investigation unit doesn't usually have the extra budget to buy a grandiose house for a mere sole purpose of getting a lead about a criminal.
"My brother told me that you would be staying here until your uncle is caught. Don't try escaping the watch of my brother, otherwise you would be jailed and depicted as an accomplice of a terrorist."
Eirik nodded and just sat down on the sofa awkwardly. In order to pass time, he took his phone out and started browsing the net.
As soon as he opened the browsers, there was an eye-catching news right below the search bar. It was about the appearance of a Revolutionary Group that called themselves, 'The Saviors.'
Due to curiosity, Eirik opened the news article to read them.
"Let's see... The Revolutionary Group 'The Saviors' first appeared a month ago at the Jail Branch in Laonion City. There were no casualties but one of the inmates famous for its Special Class attribute Ticking Bomb, Bomber, escaped from the prison. It was concluded that the main purpose of the attacker was to release that guy..."
After reading the article all the way down, Eirik was curious about the netizens' reaction. Going down the comment section, he read the top most comment.
'A revolutionary group? Lol why would you even dare to create one?'
'Is the Government weakening? Why aren't you wiping out those revolutionaries as soon as possible?'
'There must be something wrong with the Government to have a Revolutionary group like that appearing.'
'Honestly, it's time to change the government.'
"it's seems like most of the people are against the Revolutionary Group. Well, it's not like the Government is messed up or something so I don't think there is a need for such a group to appear."
Currently, the Government is running smoothly. There were no problems and they would always care for the welfare of the civilians. But like the last comment he read, if such a group was created to overthrow the Government, there must be something wrong behind how the Government is currently running.
But oh well, this was not something he was interested in. After all, even if the current government changes or not, it will not affect him. As long as he didn't have any attachment toward any of the group, he would not be affected in any way.
Thinking so, he exited the article and went to the AwakenedTube. However, due to the restriction of the site, he could only browse the non-licensed content.
Some of them are just snippets coming from the non-restricted part of the site while others are entertainment from countless Agencies or even Individuals content creators.
Scrolling down the Recommendation page of the he soon found a video with the title 'Funny Moments of Awakened!'
Curious of what new funny moments would be there, Eirik opened the video.
The first snippet of the video was about a C-Grade Licensed Awakened doing a vlog, when suddenly he was shot out in the air because he was standing right above a geyser suddenly coming out from the ground.
"Lol, people's misery is always entertaining."
After the video there was even a note that says that the vlogger wasn't dead but also defeated a Monster nearby.
Following the video was about a place he was familiar with. The high-ceiling of the gym and the crowd of the people surrounding a person that was being launched up.
"What? This is my video!"
The next second showcased him having difficulty preventing the vomit from escaping his mouth, and as soon as his mouth was opened the video slowed down and the camera zoomed in to Eirik's face.
"The f*ck! They even slowed down and zoomed right into my face!"
As the video continued, Eirik couldn't handle it anymore and directly paused the video in order to read the comment section.
'The guy making a shower out of his vomit is funny. Lol'
'Hey! Does anyone know if the Vomit Guy has a channel? I want to see if he has any other funny videos.'
'Lol, the people below him must be extremely disgusted.'
'If I were him, I wouldn't show my face to anyone ever again.'
Reading all the comments, Eirik had the urge to reply but he presented himself to do so. What if they realized he was him? After all, no one would bother to protect a stranger on the internet.
Frustrated at his own misery, he realized that people laughing at other people's misery wasn't funny. Now that he experienced it himself, he knew what was the feeling of being made fun of now.
"If only I didn't vomit... Sigh."
Although he became famous, it was at the cost of his image.
Now, people would see him as the vomit guy in every place that he will go. He really hopes that people possess short term memory, so they wouldn't recognize him in the street or anywhere he would go.
Clasping his hand, he prayed to God that he wouldn't be recognized anywhere.

Seeing the System Window message suddenly appearing in front of him, he knew that this was Fortuna.
Before responding, he looked around in order to see if Speedro was near. After all, he didn't want to be seen as crazy for talking in the air.
Seeing no one in sight, Eirik whispered in the air.
"Fortuna, just make my wish come true."
