Chapter 60: Training

After much contemplation, **Fel** made his decision. He stood before **Mufasa**, his heart pounding with a mixture of fear and determination.

**Fel**: "I'll do it. I'll train with you, Mufasa."

The old lion nodded, his golden eyes showing a hint of approval.

**Mufasa**: "Good. But know this, Fel—this path will be harder than anything you've faced before. If you're not ready to give it everything, you'll never be strong enough to challenge your father."

Fel took a deep breath, clenching his fists. He had been running for so long, but now, for the first time, he felt a spark of purpose.

**Fel**: "I'm ready."

And so, the training began.

Mufasa was a master of **Moon Magic** and **Gravity Magic**, two powerful forces that Fel had never encountered before. Under the moonlit sky, Mufasa demonstrated his abilities, summoning thousands of ethereal, crescent-shaped energy blades known as **Lunar Slashes**. Each slash moved with precision, cutting through the air with deadly accuracy.

**Mufasa**: (calmly) "The moon's power grants me control over light and shadow. These slashes can tear through almost anything. But it's my **Gravity Magic** that makes them unstoppable."

Mufasa then raised his paw, and Fel suddenly felt an overwhelming force pressing down on him, as if the entire weight of the world was bearing down on his shoulders. He struggled to stand, his legs buckling beneath the crushing pressure.

**Mufasa**: (sternly) "Gravity can immobilize your enemies, making them helpless. Combine that with Lunar Slashes, and few can withstand the onslaught."

Fel's eyes widened as he realized just how powerful Mufasa was. His own **Dark Magic**, which had always felt so uncontrollable, seemed insignificant in comparison.

After witnessing Mufasa's strength, Fel approached the old lion, his brow furrowed with concern.

**Fel**: "I've never been able to control my **Dark Magic** properly. It's wild, chaotic. Every time I try to use it, it feels like it's going to consume me."

Mufasa studied Fel for a moment, then nodded thoughtfully.

**Mufasa**: "That's because your magic isn't just dark. There's something else inside you, something you haven't discovered yet."

Fel blinked in confusion.

**Fel**: "Something else? What do you mean?"

Mufasa placed a paw on Fel's shoulder, his gaze intense.

**Mufasa**: "You have another power, one that hasn't awakened yet. You'll need to unlock it if you want to defeat your father. But first, you must master what you already have."

Fel felt a mix of excitement and fear. Another power? He had always thought the darkness was all he had, but now Mufasa was telling him there was more—something unknown and untapped within him.

With this revelation weighing on his mind, Fel and Mufasa began their first sparring session.

It wasn't long before Fel realized just how far he still had to go. Mufasa was an absolute force of nature in battle. With a single wave of his paw, he sent waves of **Lunar Slashes** crashing toward Fel, who barely managed to dodge them. And when Mufasa used his **Gravity Magic**, Fel found himself pinned to the ground, completely immobilized.

Despite his best efforts, Fel's **Dark Magic** was wild and unstable. He summoned tendrils of shadow, but they lashed out unpredictably, missing their mark or dissolving into the air before they could land a hit. He fought with all his strength, but in the end, it wasn't enough.

**Fel**: (panting) "I... I can't... move..."

Mufasa stood over him, calm and composed, his paw still raised to keep the gravity field in place.

**Mufasa**: (sternly) "You rely too much on brute force. You let your magic control you, instead of the other way around."

With a wave of his paw, Mufasa released the gravity spell, allowing Fel to stand once more.

**Mufasa**: "Control comes with time and discipline. You can't hope to master your magic if you don't understand it. This is why you fail."

Fel got to his feet, wincing from the bruises and exhaustion, but determined to continue. He had lost badly, but he wasn't ready to give up. Not yet.

**Fel**: (gritting his teeth) "I'll get stronger. I have to."

Mufasa gave a small, approving nod.

**Mufasa**: "Good. We'll keep training until you do."

As the days went on, Fel would push himself harder and harder, determined to unlock his potential and learn the secrets of his hidden power. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but with Mufasa's guidance, he was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
