His refinement speed got quicker as he got used to channeling his energy. At the end of the day, he reached the peak of his realm, 9th Elementary Spirit Realm, Stabilized. At this point, he was just minutes away from breaking through to Nascent spirit realm. That's right when his door got a couple knocks. He stopped his refinement and opened the door to see the manager.
"Hey, your times up pal."
Lucas responded with "Hm, if I pay 10 more dollars, can you let me stay a little longer?"
"Sure, I'll add 12 hours to your timer. But after that, unless you got more money, I'm not letting you stay."
"Thanks." Lucas said as he handed the manager 10 dollars. Returning back to his cultivation, he realized his progress was set back a bit. Instead of the 10 minutes it was going to take, it was now going to take 2 hours.
"Ughhhhhh... This sucks." Lucas grumbled at the fact the manager made him waste 2 hours of his time. From then on, Lucas promised himself to not let anything bother him if he was close to breaking through to the next level. As he continued cultivating, a light suddenly flickered. It was dim, but anyone near him would notice it. At one point, it began to be as bright as a flashlight. And suddenly, he broke through to the Nascent Spirit Realm.
After a bit of time, since Lucas still had a couple of hours left until he needed to leave, he broke through more levels. Eventually, reaching 4th Nascent Spirit Realm, Refinement. Noticing the refinement tag, he realized his foundation needed upgrading. And that was when he searched up ways that could help him build a solid foundation fast.

It was only 4 dollars, a steal of a price if you ask me. It's description on the site was:

With my time nearly out, I checked out of the hotel and headed to the designation. (I also got paid back 2 dollars from the remaining time, amazing.) This time, I didn't have to walk to the shop. A floating train ride should do the trick.
It's entry fee was just a mere 1 dollar. Enjoying the cool air conditioning, he sat down on the plump seats. He recalled his journey up to this point as the train sped up. Almost immediately, they had arrived to the stop. According to the GPS, the store would be right on the left of the stop. And as it said, it was on the left.
A fresh aroma arrived at his nose, the aisles were full of bottled pills ready for consumption. There were different sections of the store. Some for early cultivators, some for late cultivators, and, at that moment, I found my nascent foundation pills. Right next to it, I noticed a different bottle with the words "Nascent Spirit Qi Pills." I mumbled to myself while reading the label. I was curious, so along with 1 nascent foundation pill, I grabbed a nascent spirit qi pill.
Bringing them both up to the cash register, I asked the kind old lady behind the counter about what the nascent spirit qi pills are. She explained to me that they can help improve your cultivation level as long as you're in Nascent Spirit Realm. Approximately, 1 pill can increase your level by 0.5. So 2 pills can increase it by 1 level. I asked for another pill after she informed me on the effects of the pill.
With that, the total bill came out to 14 dollars 5 for each of the nascent spirit qi pills, and 4 for the foundation pill.

Later, I swallowed all three and started cultivating in a booth of the store. It was convenient for those who urgently needed to use the pills without distractions. With the pills, I noticed my level skyrocket, propelling me to the 5th Nascent Spirit Realm, this time Stable. And since I was already close to my next level, just a few minutes later and I reached 6th Nascent Spirit Realm.
