Pete smirked as he thought of Cari being his research project with the topic 'WHO IS CARIANA?'
Minutes later, Cari announced that breakfast was ready and Pete strolled to the dining room, a hand in the pocket of his pants. Cari saw the action and curved her upper lips in irritation before moving to the living to continue with her job.
She dusted and cleaned the room with focus, not giving Pete a single attention.
Eating alone in the dining room was not what Pete was accustomed to. He eats at the nana's packhouse with the girls or in the Alpha's packhouse with the high ranks werewolves. The other few times, he eats alone in his private little apartment or in the cafeteria.
Pete sipped his coffee, not touching his pancake while Cari still went on with her work, a glare on her face.
