Afternoon was wearing into the evening. It was late, Grandma realised. And concerned voice flowed from her. Return home so late children may be in danger. A generous offer stirred in her. The kids could stay overnight at the house.
"Children. Why not stay overnight here?" this was Grandma's suggestion. "It gets late. Your safety worries me. I don't want you outdoors at night."
Children were ecstatic. To them, a sleepover at Wilhelm's house meant full of excitement. Emma bubbled. "First sleepover at Wilhelm's house!"
Max Sebastian, Göran Lena and Charlotte all nodded in unison. Without a second thought. They were ready to spend a night in such a big house. So many rooms. Excitement was brimming within them.
"Great idea, Grandma!" Wilhelm showed his excitement. "We are going to have a lot of fun tonight."
The kids lost no time getting down to their work. They dialed their parents and conveyed a message to spend the night at Wilhelm's place. Excitement tinged their words. Fun-tastic night ahead with friends.
Children were comfortable, chatting, and laughing with each other's presence as the inviting night was ahead. Wilhelm's house offered a very accommodating space. Generous in space, they could move around and even play some games.
This had been a very fun night, and the kids really appreciated Grandma's offer to spend the night.
