Chapter 110 - 5-year Agreement

"Kizaru, you shouldn't have released the Raikage!"

After the negotiation, Kizaru arrived at the specially designated detention facility for the Raikage.

"Uncle, this is the one I caught!" Facing the unnamed guard ninja with a somewhat weathered face in front of him, Kizaru raised his right hand, pointing to the Raikage inside the adjacent building.

Uncle???

Being only 25 years old this year, Morii Yuma felt deeply wounded by Kizaru's calling him "uncle"!

"I'm only 25 this year, just call me Yuma." In the prime of his youth, Yuma corrected.

"Okay, Uncle Yuma!" Kizaru replied earnestly.

With his head drooping weakly, Yuma exuded a depressing atmosphere of sadness.

"Kizaru, the Raikage is too dangerous. If you let him out, there's a possibility he might escape." Raising his head again, Yuma earnestly advised.

Rubbing his chin, Kizaru turned to look through the window at the Raikage sitting inside.

"Hey! Are you planning to run?"

"Hmph!"

The only response to Kizaru was a cold snort from the Raikage.

"Oh-ho! You see, he won't escape." Laughing, Kizaru said jokingly.

How did you figure that out?

Internally screaming and feeling like he was about to lose it, Yuma could only continue, "Kizaru, unless there's an order from the Third Hokage, I won't release him."

Nodding with a hand on his chin, Kizaru grinned and took out a scroll from the pocket of his suit.

Taking the scroll and looking at the Hokage's order on it, Yuma, the Jonin responsible for guarding, felt like cursing.

"Why didn't you show the order earlier? Are you messing with me?"

Feeling quite helpless internally, but facing the war hero of the Second War, the direct disciple of the Third Hokage, and the assistant nephew of the Hokage, Yuma could only smile and say, "Please wait a moment, I'll release the barrier right away."

Finishing his words, Yuma, the sealing class Jonin, put away the scroll, formed hand seals, and released the barrier containing the Raikage.

"Thank you very much, Uncle Yuma!" Thanking with a smile, leaving behind a saddened Yuma, Kizaru entered the room where the Raikage was detained.

"Uncle, come with me!"

"Negotiations finished?"

Sitting cross-legged on the ground, the Raikage looked up at Kizaru who entered.

"Oh-ho! You are quite valuable! 15 billion, tsk tsk tsk!" Shaking his head with a smile, Kizaru exclaimed.

15 billion?

Hearing that the village lost a whopping 15 billion because of him, the Raikage clenched his fist in self-blame.

Remaining silent, the Raikage, engulfed in self-blame, didn't react for a long time.

"Uncle, you wouldn't want this 15 billion to go to waste, would you?" Looking at the silently remorseful Raikage, Kizaru continued.

Kizaru's words had an effect, and the Raikage stood up from the ground, his face calm.

"I will take responsibility." Firmly stating, the Raikage looked straight at Kizaru.

"Then come with me!" Maintaining the smile on his face, Kizaru said, turning directly towards the door.

Following Kizaru out of the room, the Raikage, looking at the guard ninja who was watching him vigilantly, couldn't help but pause.

His gaze lingered on the chest pocket of the guard ninja where the scroll was stored, and the Raikage smiled in surprise.

Without a word, the Raikage followed Kizaru and left the place where he was being detained.

Not long after the two left, three ANBU ninjas arrived.

"Yuma, by order of the Hokage, release the Raikage to us." Speaking, the ANBU ninja standing in the center took out the order written personally by the Third Hokage Hiruzen.

Hearing this order, Yuma was dumbfounded as he looked at the scroll in front of him.

Seeming to come to a realization, Yuma hastily reached into his pocket and pulled out the scroll given to him by Kizaru.

"Kizaru came here just now and took the Raikage with him. This is the Hokage's order he gave me." Speaking, Yuma handed the scroll in his hand to the ANBU ninja in front of him.

Taking the scroll and examining it carefully, the leading ANBU ninja noticed something unusual.

"Dispel!" Forming hand seals with one hand, he called out softly, and white smoke emanated from the scroll in his hand.

As the smoke dispersed, the red scroll turned yellow, and the content of the text on it changed.

"I've taken the Raikage, will return tonight. (Shimura Kizaru)"

Seeing the content above, the leading ANBU ninja clenched the scroll tightly in his hand.

"I will report to the Hokage truthfully, you don't have to worry!" Looking at the infuriated guard Jonin in front of him, the ANBU ninja spoke up.

"Alright! I understand!"

In the Hokage's office, Hiruzen, who was smoking, looked at the front with a wry smile, watching the Kizaru clone who came specifically to explain the situation to him.

"That Yuma kid is quite responsible, Sensei, don't blame the wrong person." After the final reminder, the Kizaru clone disappeared in front of Hiruzen.

"This child, how should I evaluate him?"

Falsifying my orders, yet concerned about his companion being punished, and deliberately coming to explain!

Regarding Kizaru's behavior like this, Hiruzen felt both helpless and somewhat relieved.

Wait, how did my demands for him become so low? This guy falsified the Hokage's orders!

Suddenly realizing this, Hiruzen also felt a bit annoyed!

"Isn't this place great?" Standing side by side on the bustling commercial street, Kizaru and the Raikage nodded.

Nodding, the Raikage admitted in his heart that Konoha's prosperity far exceeded that of other ninja villages.

But such prosperity in Konoha was based on squeezing the survival space of other ninja villages and monopolizing the largest share of mission contracts in the ninja world.

Thinking of this, the Raikage felt a bit uncomfortable looking at the prosperity around him.

"The reason I brought you here is to give you a sincere suggestion!" Looking at the shops ahead, Kizaru smiled and said.

"What?" Looking at Kizaru, the Raikage asked.

"I hate trouble! What I like most is having plenty of money and few worries, enjoying a leisurely life!" Saying this, Kizaru finally looked at the Raikage.

"This time when I go back, I hope you and Kumogakure won't cause me any trouble!" Maintaining a lazy smile on his face while speaking arrogantly, Kizaru and the Raikage stared at each other, emanating a sense of oppression.

"Kumogakure just wants better development." With his own standpoint, the Raikage replied indirectly.

"Oh-ho!" Laughing, Kizaru looked at the Raikage and said with a smirk, "What's that got to do with me?"

His body trembling, the Raikage looked at Kizaru seriously, feeling for the first time that this guy was terrifying!

"Want to make a bet?" Turning his gaze back to the street, where he spotted a green figure, Kizaru became interested.

"What?" Following Kizaru's gaze, the Raikage also looked ahead.

Pointing ahead at a lower-level ninja clad in a green bodysuit, struggling with bulky cargo, Kizaru proposed the bet.

"In five years, apart from you, no one from Kumogakure will be able to match him."

Observing the ninja Kizaru was pointing at, the Raikage frowned.

Cheap, ugly bodysuit, speaks softly and humbly, average chakra, barely qualifies in physical fitness, without a hint of genius or strength.

"Are you mocking me, Kizaru?" Retracting his gaze, the Raikage looked back at Kizaru, displeased.

"No, no, no, I'm serious!" Shaking his head, Kizaru smiled at the Raikage.

"Are you planning to turn him into a Jinchuriki?" Suspecting one possibility, the Raikage asked.

But soon, the Raikage dismissed this conjecture, shaking his head.

A ninja like him becoming a Jinchuriki would only lead to the tailed beast running amok, sacrificing his life in vain!

"Without relying on tailed beasts, ninjutsu, or genjutsu, solely using taijutsu, he can defeat all Hidden Cloud shinobi except you. In fact, he might even be willing to gamble his life!" Kizaru affirmed.

"What's the bet?" Unable to believe Kizaru's words, the Raikage asked directly.

"5 billion!" Raising his right hand, Kizaru spread his five fingers wide open.

"I can't afford that!" Without any hesitation, the Raikage refused outright.

"What can you offer then?" Seeing the Raikage refuse, Kizaru, looking to make a quick profit, asked back.

After some thought, the Raikage answered, "Ninjutsu!"

Rubbing his chin in thought, Kizaru came up with an intriguing ninjutsu.

"Lightning Release Chakra Mode."

"Your wager?" Seeing Kizaru demand to see his family's ninjutsu, the Raikage asked in return.

"The Rasengan!" Saying this, Kizaru directly raised his hand to showcase.

Watching the rapidly spinning chakra ball in Kizaru's hand, the experienced Raikage immediately recognized its value.

Unbranded ninjutsu, focused destructive power, with potential for further development, extremely excellent!

"This is my self-created A-rank ninjutsu." Stopping the Rasengan and letting it dissipate, Kizaru added with a smile.

"This guy is truly a monster!"

Hearing that the Rasengan was Kizaru's creation, the Raikage sighed inwardly once again.

"I agree!" After sighing, the Raikage accepted the bet.

"Oh-ho! Then our bet is on." Saying this, Kizaru extended his right hand to the Raikage.

Understanding Kizaru's intention, the Raikage also raised his own right hand and shook hands with Kizaru.

"Don't break your promise, Uncle Raikage!" Shaking hands with the Raikage, Kizaru said with a smile.

"I never break my word to anyone." The Raikage replied solemnly.

"Same here!" Locking eyes with the Raikage, Kizaru agreed earnestly.
