In his early twenties, not proficient in ninjutsu or genjutsu, Might Duy barely made it as a Genin relying solely on his taijutsu. Nobody wanted to team up with him, so he could only take on D-ranked missions to get by.
That was Duy's life now.
But even so, Duy didn't give up on himself!
He trained hard, completed the lowest-ranked D-rank missions diligently, and tried to make the best of each day!
Duy's life was the life of most ordinary Genin, or even worse.
With a youthful and passionate smile on his face, after completing today's mission, Duy prepared to leave this bustling commercial street and return to his old home to start preparing dinner.
"Can you wait a moment, brother?" After handing over the Raikage to the ANBU, Kizaru returned to the commercial street and found Duy who was about to leave.
Hearing the voice, Duy's face instinctively lit up with a slightly exaggerated youthful smile as he turned to look behind him.
Just like the green tight-fitting suit on Duy, the yellow-striped suit on Kizaru was also his unique trademark.
"You... you're Kizaru!" The smile on his face froze for a moment as Duy recognized Kizaru.
Suddenly becoming excited, Duy clenched his fists in front of him and said passionately, "Is there something you need from me? The hero of Konoha, Brother Kizaru!"
Scratching his head awkwardly, Kizaru suddenly regretted the bet he made with the Raikage.
"Oh-ho! You're quite spirited!" Despite feeling uncomfortable, Kizaru still praised him first.
"Is... this what youth feels like?" Being praised for the first time, Duy shed tears of joy.
Watching Duy in front of him, whose actions were becoming more and more exaggerated, and feeling the eyes around him, Kizaru immediately said, "Follow me!"
After saying it as quickly as possible, Kizaru decisively turned around, ready to leave the commercial street.
"This is the reward for hard work, I've decided! I'm going to walk on my hands 500 times around the training ground after our talk ends!" Shouting excitedly, after wiping away his tears, Duy turned around and walked on his hands, following Kizaru.
Adjusting his sunglasses, Kizaru silently quickened his pace.
Exiting the commercial street and arriving at a secluded training ground, Kizaru finally stopped, turned around to look into the distance behind him, and saw Duy walking towards him on his hands.
Maybe I made a mistake!
Kizaru, who was preparing to guide Duy to win the bet in the next five years, suddenly felt that his decision seemed a bit hasty.
With sweat dripping continuously from his body, when Duy saw that Kizaru was already waiting for him, he abandoned walking on his hands, returned to a normal posture, and ran quickly to Kizaru's side.
"Sorry to keep you waiting! To show my apology, after our conversation, I'll walk on my hands 500 times around the training ground!"
"Really impressive!" Watching the ecstatic Duy, Kizaru smiled approvingly.
"Wow!" hearing Kizaru's praise again, Duy's tears burst forth once more, and he approached Kizaru excitedly, wanting to grab Kizaru's right hand to thank him.
With a quick body flicker, Kizaru avoided Duy's hand.
"As expected of the hero of the village, Brother Kizaru!" Seeing Kizaru disappear from in front of him in an instant, Duy praised excitedly.
"Although not proficient in ninjutsu and genjutsu, only specializing in taijutsu, you're still training diligently every day, I've noticed your efforts." Slightly increasing the distance between himself and Duy, Kizaru spoke up.
The tears that Duy had just stopped flowed again because of Kizaru's words!
"This is the youth of hard work!" Raising his right fist high, Duy cried and shouted excitedly.
"As for taijutsu, I happen to be quite good at it!" Smiling, Kizaru looked directly at Duy, his face becoming serious, "Duy! Would you like to practice taijutsu with me?"
Without any hesitation, Duy placed his hands tightly on his thighs and bowed to Kizaru.
"I'd love to! Sensei!"
"Oh-ho! That's great!" Seeing Duy's agreement, Kizaru showed a satisfied smile.
Seeing Duy for the first time, and before making the bet with the Raikage, Kizaru had an idea.
That idea was to let Duy try to practice the Rokushiki of the Marines.
The Rokushiki of the Marines are techniques that can only be learned under the circumstances of surpassing human limits.
And Duy, who was practicing the Eight Gates technique, had a chance to master the Rokushiki of the Marines while in the Gate of Opening state, breaking the limits of his body.
Combining the Eight Gates with the Rokushiki of the Marines, Kizaru felt they were highly complementary and could significantly improve Duy's combat power.
It was precisely because of this consideration that Kizaru made a bet with Duy and the Raikage.
"I've created a secret martial arts technique that can only be mastered by those who break the limits of their bodies," Kizaru said, looking at the excited and expectant Duy, emphasizing his words with certainty. "And you have the potential for it!"
"I'm fired up! Sensei!" Feeling his youthful blood boiling, Duy looked at Kizaru and shouted excitedly.
"Let me demonstrate it for you!" Saying so, Kizaru turned and walked to the center of the training ground.
Quickly catching up, the excited Duy walked to Kizaru's side.
"The first move, Tempest Kick!" In fact, there was no particular order; Kizaru just thought of that move first and demonstrated it.
Lifting his right leg, Kizaru kicked out at super high speed, sending out an invisible air blade that swiftly flew out, cutting down the wooden stakes ahead, then continued flying forward, consecutively cutting down several large trees.
With his mouth open, as a taijutsu ninja who only practiced the Eight Gates, Duy discerned the principle behind it.
This Tempest Kick used the vacuum generated by kicking at super high speed to make the slash.
Now that Duy had just opened the Sixth Gate, he could barely create a similar attack using the vacuum generated by punching, but its power was far inferior to the slash Kizaru kicked out.
Looking at Kizaru, Duy could confirm that he hadn't used the Eight Gates, or even any chakra fluctuations.
In other words, Kizaru kicked out this vacuum slash solely by surpassing the limits of his body strength.
"Is this the youth of hard work?"
Trembling as he looked at Kizaru, Duy was ecstatic to the extreme!
"The second move, Shave!" Starting to demonstrate the second move, Kizaru reminded, "Pay attention to my feet."
"Got it!" Answering excitedly, Duy focused intently on Kizaru's feet.
To let Duy see clearly, Kizaru intentionally slowed down a bit.
His right foot stomped on the ground more than ten times in an instant, using the explosive speed generated by the reaction force to move, Kizaru disappeared directly from the spot.
Although Kizaru had slowed down, Duy only barely saw a faint afterimage.
Watching Kizaru, who appeared three meters away, the excited Duy was so shocked that he couldn't speak.
To achieve the effect of Body Flicker Jutsu solely relying on pure physical qualities was simply astonishing. Kizaru's physical qualities and taijutsu were indeed extraordinary!
"Do you understand the principle behind Shave?" Looking at Duy, Kizaru asked proactively.
Nodding excitedly, his fists clenched tightly against his chest, Duy said excitedly, "By stomping on the ground at high speed, using the reaction force to achieve high-speed movement."
Smiling and nodding, Kizaru continued, "Through the utilization of the principle of Shave, I've created the third move, Moon Step."
After saying that, in Duy's expectant gaze, Kizaru leaped into the air, as if strolling in the sky, briefly flying above.
"Absolutely cool!" Holding up his right hand towards Kizaru in the sky, Duy shouted excitedly, giving a thumbs up.
After demonstrating the Moon Step, Kizaru returned to Duy's side.
"The first three moves are all about developing leg techniques," Kizaru summarized simply, preparing to demonstrate the fourth move. "And the next two moves are defensive skills."
After saying so, Kizaru turned sideways, facing Duy.
"Hit me with your fist."
Momentarily stunned, Duy hesitated and exclaimed, "But, sensei!"
"Hit me!" Looking at Duy, Kizaru emphasized his command.
"I understand!" Nodding seriously, Duy raised his right hand and swung his fist.
His right fist struck Kizaru's abdomen, and Duy felt like he was hitting a piece of iron.
"This is the fourth move, Iron Body, which increases the body's hardness by accelerating blood flow and muscle movement," Kizaru explained facing Duy's curious gaze.
Genius! Kizaru sensei is simply a genius of taijutsu!
His admiration for Kizaru had turned into worship, and Duy, retracting his right fist, couldn't utter a word.
"The drawback of Iron Body is that the body cannot move while using it." Along with this, Kizaru also mentioned the shortcomings of Iron Body.
Nodding, Duy indicated he had noted it down.
"Okay, continue hitting me, this time with consecutive attacks." Seeing Duy nod, Kizaru began to demonstrate the fifth move.
Having experienced Iron Block, Duy didn't hesitate this time and obediently punched at Kizaru consecutively.
Closing his eyes and releasing all his strength, Kizaru didn't use Observation Haki but, according to the principles of Paper Art (Kami-e), dodged all the punches by perceiving the changes in airflow generated by Duy's punches.
After throwing dozens of punches consecutively, Duy gradually stopped, panting while looking at Kizaru, who had closed his eyes.
Opening his eyes and looking at the panting Duy, Kizaru began to explain the principle.
"This is the fifth move, Paper Art! By releasing all the body's strength and preemptively dodging attacks aimed at oneself by perceiving the airflow changes caused by the opponent's movements."
"This perception, this taijutsu, Kizaru sensei, you are the true god of taijutsu!" Admiring to the extreme, Duy sincerely praised Kizaru.
"Oh, what an embarrassing compliment!" Laughing, Kizaru modestly replied.
Shaking his head vigorously, Duy looked at Kizaru excitedly and said seriously, "That's my true inner thought! Kizaru sensei, you are the real god of taijutsu!"
"Next is the sixth and final move, Finger Gun! Follow me."
Worried that Duy would become more and more exaggerated in his praises, Kizaru directly spoke up and led Duy to a nearby wooden stake.
Raising his right hand and extending his index finger, Kizaru glanced at Duy before looking at the wooden stake.
"Gather all the body's strength onto the index finger, and with a hardened finger, release a strike as swift as a lightning..."
As he spoke, Kizaru thrust his right index finger towards the wooden stake in front of him.
Easily piercing into the wooden stake, Kizaru created an extremely deep conical wound on the wooden stake.
Withdrawing his index finger and lowering his right hand, Kizaru smiled and looked at Duy beside him.
"Do you understand now?"
