Through out that week, I avoided Ruca and I did my best not to come across him even though he went looking for me most of the times.
The next week was valentines day and since I never had a boyfriend, I didn't know the essence.
I went to school and was about to settle down for the day, but when I opened my locker, I was shocked to find a lot of letters, cards and balloons and I didn't even need to think who sent it.
With an angry face, I rushed over to his class, only to see him on one knee, holding a bouquet of red roses. Before I even got the chance to shout, he silenced me by asking me to be his valentine.
I immediately said no, but he had another trick up his sleeves. He asked me to play a game of chess with him and if I lost,I would be his valentine or else, he would tell the whole school we were in love, and I did not want those cheer leaders on my neck so I reluctantantly agreed.
Unfortunately I lost the game, so I had to stick with my promise. We first went on a date in the park. He wanted to eat ice cream and cheese but it wasn't available at the moment so,he grumbled all through the way.
I nearly burst out laughing because of his face.we went to the cinema and watched a romantic movie during which he slept of on my shoulder. He looked innocent and peaceful while asleep.
Soon it was night time and he dropped me off at my house,then he said & quot I enjoyed my day & quit,"me too" I replied ."e I want to spend my next valentines day with you & quot. I just smiled but some thing deep down told me that he was the best person I could spend my valentines day with.
"Don't fall for him,he will break your heart " was what I kept chanting all night long.But that didn't stop me from seeing his face in my head all night.
The next day,a sleep deprived me walked to college yawning all the way through.
