Chapter 4 - my new life

Two years and 3 months later, after my family's death, I was still stuck in trauma. I would lie if I said that I was finally getting over it because I wasn't, not even in the slightest way.

I was anything but getting over what happened. How could somebody get over that kind of event. Even in my hundredth lifetime, I would still remember it all.

Losing all my family members and everything in less than one month was a memorable event and it was not a good one.

Even though I was usually an extrovert which was my natural behavior, the events that happen in my life turned my personality upside down.

If not for the usually persuasion of Nora for me to go out,I would literally die in my room. She usually forced me go for some other activities so that I won't fall sick.

some times,I would go and some times I wouldn't. But I would never go out without alvier, I wanted her close to me at all times because she was the only part of my biological family that was still alive and she shared in many of our wonderful moments.

Now, I relocated from my country because I thought that the person who killed my family might want to come after me to take my life.I would've believed it was an accident if the car was not new and had been serviced the day before.

So, it was the advice of the police inspector that I should relocate to another place or maybe country and if possible change by identity.

Right now, I'm in Canada and thanks to my aunt's Nora's numerous jobs, and my partime job,as well as my scholarship, I was actually still going one of the best schools in the country.

My name was now Tiara and I was now 20 years old. Even though I was of age, I didn't have any interest in going back to my family business since my life was potentially still in danger and I wouldn't want to risk it also I didn't have any financial backup or legal support to get back any of the rights acclaimed to me concerning my father's company so I just tried to lay low until the time comes.

I hardly spoke to anyone and because of my past. The sufferings that I've been through in my life.

I now found it very hard to talk to people and I was a social novice and only had two people in my life now, that was Nora and Alvier.

They were my only reasons for living. I still went to school and I was now in high school with only one year to go. Even at that, I did not value my life anymore .I was just like a walking corpse with no aim.

Anytime I thought of how my life was, I always felt like crying. It was sad at how a normal girl who was the princess suddenly turned into a commoner, a vibrant girl turned into a dull flower.

I had no more aim in life and just wanted to give up but deep down something still kept me going.

I don't know if it was whether this drive to succeed or the hope that everything was going to be all right one day or maybe just the thoughts that my parents and my family might eventually come back or I just wanted to see how my future would be like.

I don't know but whatever that force was he just kept on me going day after day against my wish .I wished that I would sleep one night and I would never see the morning sun again but it's never came to be.Sadness had become my hobby and it was killing my soul and eating me up inside day by day.

I was living a life where I was hoping to die
