Envey albeit bad, is often a great motivator.
Those youths who wanted to challenge, but feared the bulky youth, suddenly jumped up, volunteering to fight.
"I'll fight you."
"No, let me fight!"
"Stop it! Your doing this for some cheecks?"
"Yes I am, cry about it."
The truely wasn't an end to what men would do for pu... A Woman. Surprising, even some girls volunteer to fight. Most of these spirited individuals were from Asher's class, but there were some, from the 1st class.
"Watch the noise!" Chase warned, irritatedly. He looked at Asher wanting to say something but didn't.
He knew youths often overestimate themselves, he knows, since he too was like that. Just like that year, him and his friends were also humbled.
"Erelah! What are you doing? Sir Raphael won't approve of this!" Jerahmeel reacted and looked towards the girl.
"You have no authority over me!" the girl, Erelah, looked at the youth, her expression colder the a hailstorm. She looked back at Asher, "As long as he can prove that his stronger then everyone here, I don't care."
"Che." Displeased, Jerahmeel stared daggers at Asher.
"Javan let me fight this human!"
"No! Don't interven or I'll fight you as well." the bulky youth, Javan shouted, his eyes glued to Asher, a grin visible on his face.
"I hope your a man of your word!" Asher stared back at Javan
"So your the strongest human first year, don't worry, I won't dishonor myself by lying." Javan said with a humble expression and his hand over his heart before suddenly throwing a punch...
*Bam*
Asher was caught off guard and got sent flying, and crashing onto the display counters.
Javan, suddenly frowned, he looked down and saw a footprint on his stomach. His surprised expression quickly morphed into a wide grin. This is gonna be worth it!
'What a twisted sense of honor.' Asher lifted himself up, while shaking his head.
He touched his nose and was surprised that it was bleeding, the pain he currently felt was like nothing he's experienced before.
'Such incredible strength, and he hasn't had the baptismn ye-' before Asher could finish his train of thoughts, he tilted his head.
*Bam*
A kick landed besides him, sending the display counters crashing onto the tree.
*hmph*
Asher used Javan's leg as a springboard, creating some distance, while Javan fall on the ground.
'He'll be my stepping stone as well.' Asher lifted himself up. Thus far, he hadn't seriously faught with people stronger then him. To reach the top, he knew he'd meet them evantually.
"Your a warrior, human, I'll give you that. Just, don't disappoint me." Javan got up, with a wide grin on his face.
'I need to calm down.' Asher watched the youth walk up to him, he let out a deep breadth.
As soon as the youth got in range, he had already made a fierce attack. Asher wasn't new to fighting so he was long prepared. He slight moved his head and dodged.
Javan's followed up moves were relentless and ruthless, often aiming at fital points. Asher dodged and parried a few attacks. Asher's earlier assessment was right, his opponent, was stronger and faster then him. He sometimes partially blocked some attacks.
Despite that, Asher seemed even calmer than before.
Seeing he can't land a decisive hit, Javan started sending stronger attacks that covered a larger area.
Asher was forced to jump back, and move around more, while dodging. In the rythem of the battle, Asher was undoubtedly being suppressed, while Javan controlled the flow.
"Are you gonna run away forever or are you gonna attack!" frustrated, Javan attacks suddenly became more fierce. Asher began sustaining some damage despite blocking or parrying the attacks.
Suddenly, Asher's figure dived down, only to come up and land a punch, followed by 2 light punches then a heavy right hook.
"Asking to get hit, you must be a weird person, but you've got a point." Asher lifted his fists to his face.
"Finally! A decant hit!" Javan's wiped his face, this time his face had a hint excitement.
Despite being a decent hitter, the human lacks the power to do some serious damage. I'll go all out, hopefully he can keep up, I don't want this to end.
If Asher knew his opponent was wishing him well, he'd undoubtedly lose his fighting spirite.
Javan resumed his onslaughter of attacks, this time he was faster and more relentless. Asher's feet moved back and forth, dodging the attacks, his arms still protecting his upper-body and face. He dodged the attacks and landed his own.
*Bam Bam* *Bam*
Asher landed a combo, having appeared at the right time from the opponents blind unguarded spot, but Javan was undeterred, seemingly unbothered.
After Asher's first counterattack, his attacks became more and more frequent. Evading and attack at the right time. Javan's skin started turning red in various places. The seemingly red areas, became like a target, where attacks landed one after the other.
Luckily, Javan had tough skin and nerves of steal, but even then, the attacks kept coming.
Suddenly, Javan blocked a punch. The seemingly weak attacks on the same spot, were dealing damage.
With that, the momentum switched. Javan tried to attack but his attack only found air, followed by a stinging punishment.
'What's going on?' Javan was confused and slightly irritated. This weak human is obvious slower and weaker then me, so why? It seems like the human can read my movements, dodging my attacks before I throw them. What even more annoying is his cunning movement. After I attack he appears at the spot I can't reach, then he delivers those precise attacks.
An attack slipped past Javan's defenses and landed on his face, causing him to stumble out of balance.
Javan threw out a right punch, but Asher ducked under it, appearing at his right side, where Javan couldn't reach him, and threw out a heavy punch.
*Bam*
Javan was sent flying, crashing onto the tables.
Everyone looked at the scene in shock, mouths wide open. A human beating an angel, and the disparity in the fight, it was all so one sided.
Unbeknownst to anyone, at the top of the hall, a pair of silver eyes, frowned looking at the scene. The eyes lingered on Asher, recognizing the face.
'What's going on? Javan is the strongest disciple, his having trouble with this human?' Jerahmeel's eyes were as wide an elephant.
A apostol was a direct follower of one of the three archangels of the church, the strongest known existence in the whole realm.
'This humans needs to be taught a lesson! He must know his place! But that's not important, what's important is this fight, if Javan actually looses then...' Jerahmeel gaze suddenly landed on Erelah, who was staring at the Asher, seemingly in a daze.
Jerahmeel became shocked, his gaze sharpened as his knuckles cracked, 'She's never given me that look before! This human must die!'
On the other side.
That last attack was undoubtedly stronger, meaning he's been holding back. Javan slowly got up.
"hahaha, a worthy opponent! why is it so hard to come by! Human warrior, what is your name." his expression ecstatic, he tore off his shirt revealing his muscles. This human has done it! He has awoken my fighting spirit.
"Asher!" Asher responded, sensing the incoming battle he took of his jacket and shirt, revealing his muscles.
"Good! Men should be simple like this!"
Suddenly, Javan dashed at Asher, kicking up winds.
Fully focused, Asher planted his feet and prepared but he frowned.
Blinding Javan with his Jacket, Asher pulled back and punched Jerahmeel in the face, without pausing, he jumped up and kicked Javan in the face. Sending them both flying.
The onlookers were shocked, winning against not one but two angels at the same time, and flawlessly at that.
"Despicable!"
"Ayo they jumping my boy, I ain't gonna let my boy get jumped."
Four-eyes and Atlas reacted jumping over the table, but the silver eyes glanced at them and they seem to pass out on the table.
It wasn't just them, everyone, including the teachers passed out. Everyone except Erelah. Her eyes stayed glued to the fight.
Javan removed the jacket, seeing an opening, he jumped, launching a fierce attack, without pausing his movements.
Asher spun out of the way, landing a kick on his face, simultaneously his fist landed on Jerahmeel's face.
Asher's feet moved, barely touching the ground, his knee already landed on Javan's face. He spun around and his foot just so happened to land on Jerahmeel's chin.
Just Asher turned around, he got tackled and slammed onto the ground.
*Bam*
A fist landed where Asher's head was, sending cracks on the ground.
*Bam Bam bam*
A few more fists kept finding the ground, until Asher grabbed one of those arms, throwing his legs up, he grabbed Javan's head.
Shifting his weight, and turning his body, Asher quickly found himself sitting on Javan's head while holding his hand. Javan was undoubtedly in an uncomfortable position.
Asher pulled arm, while leaning back. They both did a 360, before crushing on the ground, with Asher on top. Not wasting time, Asher stood on his knees and started punching the head in front of him.
*Bam* *Bam* *Bam*
Asher's fists rang out, as he ponded repitedly and the ground trembled.
Suddenly, Asher felt Javan's hand gripping his ankle, just as he wanted to punch again, Jerahmeel's fist landed on his face.
Before Asher's body could fly away, he was pulled by his ankle and slammed into the ground face first.
Javan wouldn't miss this opportunity, pulling Asher for seconds, he slapped him against the floor, back first.
Like a broken record, he repeated it a few more times.
*bam* *bam*
'What's going on?' Asher's consciousness was slipping away as he tried to recall what was happening, he couldn't and his mind was consumed by darkness.
At that moment, a memory of him and his older brother walking in front of their parents, but then it was replaced by one of his parants lying in a pool of blood. Then it flashed again and a memory of a man with jet black wings choking his brother, then one of them jumping into a portal flashed.
'Right, for my brother, I need to save him.' Asher's consciousness cleared, despite the continuous ringing.
At this moment, he also recalled his situation and currently plan.
"Don't fuck with me!" Asher suddenly kicked himself free, in the air, he spun around and kicked Javan.
Landing, he helped himself to his ribs and open abdominal, landing a flurry of punches.
His hands momentarily blurred, but stopped as he turned around. Ducking under an attack and delivering a gut punch, he jumped up, and his knees rapidly greeted Jerahmeel's face.
The silver pair of eyes frowned, then turned to disdain, as if nothing interested it and the whole world owed it. Not long after the eyes slowly faded away.
Asher turned around to punch Javan, but his fists stopped halfway, turning around, he saw a white rope made of light wrapped around his head.
Something about that rope, made him lose his fighting spirit, making his hole body feel lazy.
Asher's eyelids suddenly got heavy, overtaken by an unbearable drowsiness, he fell on the ground.
He seemed to be passed out.
Javan suddenly froze, turning to look at jerameel, his expression turned fierce, "You bastard! How dare you intervene!"
"hmph! Just because your stronger then me, doesn't mean I won't fight back." Seeing Asher on the floor, Jerahmeel's face relaxed.
He looked at Javan and thought, 'As if I'll let Erelah be taken from me by some human, due to your muscle brain.'
Just then, Javan also felt his eyelids get heavy before slumbing down on the ground.
*sigh*
Just as he relaxed, Jerahmeel also felt his eyelids getting heavy.
Everyone in the room was passed out, all besides one person.
