The Bushes and shrubs before him suddenly parted and within them, A deer covered in a stunning azure glow made her way forward.
' Why's there another Evo beast in the forest‽' The deer felt startled by the new discovery.
' Is this the helping hand Lord Cangdi said I'd find when he told me to rush over here at night?' Thought the azure glowing deer as she stared at the lame black wolf on the ground before her, Within her eye's one could find a trace of caution yet hope as well.
The Azure glowing deer was Fa Yi-Fei, After her and her father had gone to seek help from her deity and follower the great Azure Dragon "Cangdi".
He told her that if she wanted to aquire the fierce scorpion's aid, She had to come to this particular spot in the forest, He said that something that would help her gain his favour would be waiting for her here.
She was already happy that her god answered her call but the moment she heard his helping words she instantly became even happier, She didn't hesitate to brave the dark of night to come here but who would've thought that what she saw was not an item nor treasure but instead a wounded Black Wolf, Moreover he was an Evo as well.
The moment the glowing deer arrived the black wolf felt a faint feeling of attraction towards it, His face looked gloomier because ever since he could remember, the only one's who would give him such a feeling was his Beast turned siblings meaning this guest of his was an Evo Beast.
Ebube's eyes were filled with amazement though his face still had a hint of caution on it, His throat gave off a low growl of warning, He made sure to tell the figure not to take another step closer.
Since he hadn't seen such a creature before, it was normal for him to be on guard.
His reaction seemed to be right because the Azure glowing deer before him suddenly took a few steps forward.
The Black Wolf's eye's gleamed coldly with battle intent with his growl turning deeper, No matter what reason, if the deer took another step forward he wouldn't be polite.
" Please don't on't misunderstand, I didn't come here to cause you any harm " A feminine flustered voice escaped from the deers mouth, Instead of feeling stunned Ebube became apprehensive.
He was now sure that his earlier notion was correct, This creature before him really was like him and his siblings.
When she saw his reaction The deer sighed helplessly before saying.
" Am only here to lend a helping hand " The azure glowing deer revealed a light smile, She knew that the beast before her was treating her with caution so she tried to seem approachable to ease the tense atmosphere.
Moreover she also knew that the wolf was in no position to retaliate, Since there was nothing to worry about, She made her way closer to Ebube till she was now standing before him.
Just like she expected his growls where only a bluff, The wolf before her didn't do anything in those few moments she walked up to him besides glare and snarl at her.
Fa Yifei pondered as she stared at the two crude arrows stuck in the wolfs flesh, If she were to pull them out she knew that the black wolf would be forced to retaliate due to the pain.
To avoid a problematic situation Fa-Yifei's eyes glowed an azure hue as she used her ability Nature's Protection.
«[Nature's Protection: An ability that gives one the same characteristics as one loved by nature, which includes controlling all creations with wood element such as plants and creatures of the wood element]»
The plants around Ebube suddenly grew larger, Like living Vines, They entangled his limbs holding him in place so he wouldn't move.
Ebube tried struggling but with his injured body all he could do in the end was watch as she trapped him in place.
Now that he was kept in place the azure glowing deer controlled a few other Vines to coil around the protruding arrows on his back.
Ebube's eyes constricted while he winced in pain.
" Wait! wait! wait!" Ebube felt a stinging pain the moment the arrows were grabbed, He didn't want to pull out the arrows anymore when the thought of how bad it would hurt suddenly came to mind.
" Just take a deep breath, it'll only hurt for a moment I promise " Fa Yifei reassured him but Ebube didn't give a damn about whatever she said, The only though going through his mind was how bad this would hurt afterwards.
" I don't care!, Just leave it alone please!" The Black wolf yelled urgently.
Fa Yifei's eye's looked at the pitiful wolf and couldn't help feeling a bit reluctant yet when she remembered her main purpose for being here she decided to steel her nerves.
' Am sorry but this is the only way!, I promise I'll heal you up quickly afterwards ' She said inwardly.
Ebube felt his heart skip a beat when he saw her decisive gaze, With the arrows within grasp, The two vines quickly pulled out the arrows.
' No no no no no no!....'
" Arrrrghhhh!!!" The black wolfs agonizing cry was heard within the quite forest, His loud voice frightened several bird's awake who flew away in a panic.
The deer felt genuinely sorry for the pained wolf, So as not to cause him any more pain than necessary she tried using her abilities healing factor to close the wound only to be left stunned when she realized that the wound had already been healed before she knew it.
" Even my regeneration can't compare to this!" She thought with amazement, as an Evo she was aware of her own capabilities, Without using her abilities healing factor on herself, She didn't think she could match his regeneration speed.
