"Did anyone see how that thing turned its head into an infernal blade? That thing cuts through flesh and metal like butter. [I never expected to see something like this one day; worse, we're surrounded by truly creepy beings.] "
We are all servants to something. Anton watched how everyone was slaves to their fate, and others were servants here to face the adversities of those who would continue to fight.
The dark entities, now named Class Zero anomalies, must be eliminated as soon as possible and not by just anyone. Those who eliminate these monsters must at least be trained to avoid leaks or contamination.
"The materials that the parasites' blades can penetrate surpass the armor a soldier can wear. It would be much more advantageous to carry light armor to favor movement." Anton analyzed this quietly so that Alexander could begin preparing the equipment for the soldiers.
Anton knew that most people couldn't lift more than a hundred kilograms without getting exhausted; being able to lift over five hundred at all times, like he did, was inhuman. "Select the weapons we use to eliminate werewolves; we must aim to decapitate and keep our distance."
Everyone began to observe the combat performance of the Class Zero dark entities they would face and started developing strategies.
Anton didn't need to worry; all these soldiers were elite since he himself joined the Light Association as an exorcist priest, so their experience shouldn't be in question.
"Order that no drastic measures be taken until it appears." Anton saw that Kiran had been handling cases in Japan related to this issue, so it would be interesting to hear from him.
"Sir, should we use electric weapons?"
Anton thought and said, "We'll try, but we shouldn't experiment, as this would alter the missions too much. We should just eliminate them; if we have the chance, we could put it into practice."
Jay, who was on the side observing the electric weapons, saw a very small one and asked, "Why is a toy in the weapons section?"
"I wouldn't underestimate that weapon."
"It's the size of an ear; how can you not want me to underestimate its size?"
Anton shook his head at hearing these pointless discussions.
…
"Are they going to put me under the orders of a foreigner to face enemies he's never seen before?" Choi immediately asked incredulously upon learning that all operations against unidentified enemies would be put in the hands of a foreigner. She had fought hard to understand and study the parasites, so there was no one better for this position.
"Ms. Choi, you must understand that we empathize with your situation, but these are orders from the Blue House; we can't do anything about it."
"The Blue House issued this statement?" Choi didn't know what the high command was planning by putting someone from outside in charge of this important operation.
Of course, all this was because the police knew absolutely nothing about the Light Association, only some protocols that made them follow certain orders without questioning them in case of an emergency.
This certainly complicated the missions to some extent, but the Light Association had never considered changing this way of doing things.
"We don't know much about it."
Choi was a special agent selected for the elimination of parasites in South Korea. She had had the best performance dealing with these unknown anomalies, so it was strange that someone else was assigned to the case.
"What is his name?"
"His name is Anton ShadowBane, Cardinal of the Light of the Light Association. Your orders are to follow that man; if you question his demands, you will be removed and could even lose your license."
Choi nodded, ended the call without saying anything, and then hit the table hard to vent her anger. "Who is that damn idiot?"
