Chapter 269 - The Conjecture in the Mission

Anton looked at the target he had eliminated with a single high-caliber bullet and murmured, "That thing must belong to the other predator; it shouldn't be too far away."

The only reason two alien tracker dogs appeared here was that they were searching for what Anton had in his hands, possibly something more sophisticated than he realized.

But beyond that, it was clear a confrontation was imminent now that they were here.

Crack!

Even so, before the unexpected happened, Anton heard very loud footsteps behind him, to which he immediately aimed his sniper rifle.

"You're much quieter than I expected; can you understand me?" Anton felt a bit nervous because he didn't know what kind of weaponry this thing everyone called Predator had.

But after a few seconds, Anton was surprised that the Predator didn't attack him, so he lowered his gaze to where the mask was and asked, "Do you need your equipment?"

The predator nodded, pointing to the things on the ground.

"Did you send the trackers?" Anton pointed to the creatures dead on the ground a few hundred meters away.

The predator walked to the edge of the roof, looked at the dead tracker, and shook his head, increasing the tension about what that meant.

Anton, who nodded, handed the mask and bracelet to the Predator, who was avoiding conflict. He wasn't stupid; he was obviously sure he could eliminate it, but it wasn't the time yet because he had other plans.

Apparently, another predator was looking for the one beside him, so he planned to watch them fight and kill both when the time came.

"Do you mind if we kill your friend?" Anton looked at a shimmering, transparent silhouette not far from him.

The Predator had put on his wristband, changed masks, and looked at the Predator known as Wolf, who was approaching their direction.

"I'll give you a little advantage; you look like a child in front of that thing." Anton raised his sniper rifle and fired.

Bang!

From what he could see, the predator was bigger, stronger, and more skilled in close combat.

"You have invaded a planet that doesn't belong to you; don't expect honor in combat when you are the invaders." Anton reloaded his rifle when he saw his bullet had hit the predator's armor.

But before he could fire again, the predator beside him jumped to face Wolf, who was running towards them.

Crack!

"Well, I guess I'll watch the battle from here." Anton positioned himself in an ideal spot to eliminate the predators currently fighting.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

From what Anton knew, these things fought with honor by not using weapons, a clear difference between the Predator he handed the gear to and Wolf, who was fighting very primitively.

"Zz... Anton, we're close."

"Wait a kilometer from my location; the two predators are fighting, so I'll eliminate the winner." Anton immediately reported.

But this fight was very even until a few minutes ago because what Wolf had done was take some primitive weapons and cut off an arm from the Predator carrying his weapons.

"Arghhhhh!!!"

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Anton could see that after just a few minutes, Wolf had gained the upper hand to the point of being about to kill the other predator.

"What's wrong with me?" Anton raised his rifle and fired without thinking twice at Wolf, who was about to kill his rival.

Bang!

At that moment, Wolf identified a new threat, so he lifted the Predator on the ground and used him as a shield to defend against the shot.

"Damn it!" Anton jumped from the rooftop to the ground, surprising Wolf, who saw him as a threat.

"Zz... Move in, capture the smaller predator."

"Zz... capture him?"

Anton had removed his headset, but before he could do anything, that immense predator disappeared from his sight. However, without this Predator knowing, Anton could sense his aura, so he fired again.

Crack!

The bullet this time grazed one of Wolf's arms, causing a severe wound, but now, at a closer distance and wanting to find out how strong these predators were, Anton dropped his rifle.

"Come on, have an honorable duel!" Anton's eyes desired this battle.

But the Predator wasn't stupid; he had obtained what he was looking for, so there was no need for this duel that endangered his mission.

"Are you running away?" Anton frowned, took the sniper rifle, and chased the predator.

Bang! Bang! Bang!
