Chapter 257 - The Fate of These Creatures Is to Exterminate Us

Anton headed towards the facility where the operation was taking place. The agents outside immediately followed him as more agents arrived to increase the pressure on the facility.

"Guardian, the latest enemy contact update came from the parking lot facility," said a man named Dustin, who followed Anton.

Knowing where the targets were, Anton took the shortest route and soon saw a shirtless man dragging two S.C.G. agents.

"Don't move!"

The team behind Anton moved to both sides, aiming their rifles at the man. This man, with a furious look, glared at all the people pointing weapons at him and furrowed his brows even more.

Anton stepped forward to get a closer look at what kind of thing they were facing.

"Can you interact?" Anton asked, ordering the agents to lower their weapons.

The man, who was panting heavily, looked at Anton and demanded, "Don't get in my way; I have to eliminate her as soon as possible."

"Sir, you need to see this."

Anton turned to see the information his agents had found about the man in front of him.

[Name: Kevin Wendell Crumb

Medical Information: Kevin is a man suffering from severe multiple personality disorder, with no less than 24 distinct personalities.

According to the report from the psychologist helping him control the other personalities, Kevin's condition becomes more dangerous depending on who is in control.

Known Personalities:

Dennis: A mature man obsessed with cleanliness and with strange sexual interests.

Patricia: A woman who dominates most of the personalities.

Police Information: These same personalities make Kevin kidnap three teenagers and keep them locked in his lair. Casey Cooke, one of the teenagers, tries to gain the affection of Hedwig, one of Kevin's facets, a 9-year-old boy, but ultimately fails and is forced to confront one of the most unusual and dangerous personalities known as the Beast, a personality in which Kevin loses all traces of humanity and acts on instinct.]

"I suppose you are the Beast, and since the Beast knows nothing of logic, I will have to bring back one of your rational personalities." Anton removed the safety pin, and the person next to him received everything.

Anton put on a pair of knuckle dusters and then ordered support to ensure the special individuals didn't escape like Kevin did, to which everyone agreed.

"He's a great asset if his strength is supernatural, but he's certainly an unusable target if he gets confined." Anton considered all the reasons to keep this person alive.

"Arghhh!!!" Kevin roared loudly before throwing a type of cable he was holding in his hand.

Crack!

Anton dodged the attack, his body moving automatically to the side as he got closer. "I need to reduce the distance."

To test some of what this man could unleash, he needed a hand-to-hand combat, which would soon happen.

Boom!

Kevin ran towards Anton, his right fist striking Anton's left defense, causing Anton to step back a few paces from the force of the impact.

Pum! Pum! Pum!

What Anton discovered from a few simple blows was that the Beast's personality didn't have a fixed combat style, making him a weak target, at least for Anton.

As Anton was about to receive another blow, he moved. His standard striking style was simple Muay Thai but focused only on strikes.

"Ahhhhh!"

Anton watched as Kevin's muscles twisted, a truly brilliant sight, but it wasn't something worth prolonging.

Boom!

Kevin flew, crashing into a vehicle. He wanted to stand up but couldn't because the points where he had been hit paralyzed his body.

"What are you going to do?"

Anton pulled out a long black knife, observing his target all the time. His indifferent gaze remained, but in the end, he said, "I must admit you are a valuable asset, but uncontrollable creatures must be exterminated."

[Mission in progress…

Type: Special

Class: Domestication/Containment

Request: Domesticate the Beast; a valuable asset shouldn't be discarded so easily, especially when it can become a valuable resource.

Reward: The Guardian's Symbol. You have rights over a person as long as you respect rules one, two, and three imposed on the work they will do for you...]

"Now this?" Anton paused, thinking more carefully about what to do next.
