Chapter 231 - Does God Exist?

Everyone asks the same question when they want to question the existence of something as unimaginable as God: who created God?

A simple answer would be no one, nothing.

So, has God always existed?

The answer to that question is that God has existed forever; that is, God is the uncreated one.

To reach this conclusion, what is known is that the universe was created in an instant, and everything known as matter and time was also created in an instant, with which the one who created it is neither material nor temporal, and that is what is called God. Therefore, the true exorcists of the Light Association do not believe that it is so difficult to understand that there is a God; the real problem is really knowing God, something that no one has the right to do.

Since Anton died, he recognized that it was he who gave him the opportunity for redemption, something that perhaps very few will have the opportunity to experience and also endure, considering everything he had faced since his journey began.

In less than three years, he believed that if he continued on this path, there would be very few chances of enduring until old age.

But that is not a problem. To tell the truth, at this point in life, Anton has little awareness of what is bad compared to what is really bad, but he is totally sure of knowing what to do in situations where he faces evil.

Being an exorcist priest, a blinder of evil, was something that had stuck to his skin in a dense way. There was nothing he couldn't do for kind, gentle, and humble people. It is true that there were certain groups of people who did not deserve to be saved, but for that, Anton had many other possibilities to alleviate their suffering.

He knew he was doing things right; at least he was aware of it because of everything he had worked on in the last few days. But for some reason, the things that happened around him sometimes became bigger, and the problems he faced affected more people, as if something much bigger than what can be imagined was on the way.

For something, Anton was becoming stronger as those strange missions passed that were made for him to become stronger.

If only he knew what he was facing, maybe there would be other possibilities for handling things.

...

"We're about to arrive; don't you want to wake up yet?" A female voice reached Anton's ears when he was suddenly having a strange dream.

"Where are we?" Anton gently opened his eyes as he tried to remember what he was doing.

Akira, who was driving the truck, looked at him strangely and said, "We're going on our first mission together; didn't you say I'm now ready for field operations?"

"That's right..." Anton nodded; he had remembered instructing Akira in the world of darkness after she and her father refused to take back the Continental after all their employees were killed.

It's not easy to return to a place like that after losing friends, workers, and loyal people. Besides, at this point, Akira had decided to lead her life down a very different path than before.

When they returned a few months ago, she started living in Anton's residence, and in fact, her father stayed to take care of the trees in that house. Now Anton didn't have to worry about taking care of his trees and could keep them in good hands.

Also, since he always stays away, there wouldn't be many problems if more people lived in his building.

This time, they remembered that they were heading to a nearby town after receiving alarming dark energy from a town that not only encompassed it but also flooded a nearby forest where beyond there were mountains.

Lately, there have been many encounters with sects. These sects were sometimes very skilled, and their connection with evil was worrying. That's why Anton, at this moment of wanting to slowly teach Akira about his work, decided that from now on she would accompany him.

"So, do you normally detect something dark in the air?" Akira, now that Anton was awake, brought up a quite interesting topic of conversation.

Anton thought about it for a moment and replied, "Well, detecting paranormal energy or supernatural entities through technology is a subject that has been speculated and experimented on in various communities interested in the paranormal beyond what everyone knows."

"One theory suggests that supernatural energies could manifest through changes in the electromagnetic field (EMF) or in other energy frequencies. Therefore, devices that are sensitive to such changes could be used to detect these alleged manifestations. We, as an association, have a super radar that measures all frequencies and alerts us when there are things out of the ordinary."

Akira had heard something like that, but she wondered if that was the only way. But knowing that Anton had not finished his explanation, she remained silent.

"We usually find out that something is wrong when it's too late and a complete elimination has to be done, but sometimes we can arrive on time and free those affected." Anton opened a jar of dried fruits and began to eat.

"Are those meters everywhere?"

"The so-called EMF meters... Those who have trained for years know that these devices are designed to measure fluctuations in the electromagnetic field. It is believed that certain supernatural entities can cause disturbances in the EMF field when they are present or in the process of emerging. Paranormal researchers often use EMF meters during their investigations to look for unusual changes that could indicate the presence of paranormal activity."

"As for the frequencies, it is speculated that paranormal energies could manifest in a range of frequencies that goes beyond what humans can normally perceive. Some paranormal researchers suggest that extremely high or low frequencies could be associated with paranormal activity."

Anton paused and pointed, "And if we don't do the complete elimination, many could die; that's why we are on our way to find out where these high frequencies of darkness are coming from."
