"Am I being possessed by a supernatural entity?" Rose tried to process what Anton had just told her a few moments ago.
Anton didn't want to mince words and said, "You've been marked by a demon, which means it will follow you from here to the end of the world without the possibility of changing that simply by moving. Unlike an evil spirit that marks a house or an object, your situation is different because it marked you."
There are only three types of evil spirits or demons that are not physically present: those that mark an object, mark a house, or mark a person. It can be said that mentioning them is from least to most dangerous, as the last type cannot be escaped unless dealt with by an exorcist.
Anton had faced these three types of dark entities, knew how each of them operated, and understood that behind each purpose, there was something more.
At that moment, an idea came to Anton's mind, and he said, "Fun, purpose, or simply survival is why that demon does that."
Alexander, who was nearby, approached with numerous photographs of people who had taken their own lives and placed them one by one on the table in front of Rose.
"All these people have died at the hands of the demon that has marked you; none of them has survived more than seven days." Anton pointed to the photographs to make Rose aware of what she was facing.
Rose looked at all those horrific deaths and asked, "No one has survived?"
Anton shook his head.
"Then, how can you help me?" Rose was now terrified; perhaps the only way to defeat that evil spirit was by taking her own life in an isolated area where no one could see her.
This method was not entirely incorrect, but what Rose didn't know was that the demon wouldn't give her the chance to do that. It might make her believe she can do it, only to trap her in an illusion where she succeeded for a few seconds before killing her in front of someone else.
It's worth mentioning that she had been possessed several times; the priests who were watching her could capture all that information, so that idea was dangerous.
Once Anton explained this, he mentioned, "The only way to get rid of that demon is through a forced invocation that forces the demon to appear in front of everyone present."
"Will I also see it?" Rose had been seeing hallucinations, but seeing the demon that was disturbing her was terrifying.
Anton nodded and asked, "Are you agreeable?"
Rose nodded. She had no chance of surviving alone, so as long as these people helped her, she might be able to rid herself of this problem that had ended her life.
"Prepare the barrier, give her a silver cross, and make sure everyone is ready." Anton stood up and took off his jacket; the blood on his right hand began to form into a cross in his palm, and drops of blood slowly fell to the wooden floor.
"Understood!" Alexander walked towards some bales of wool and began to create a barrier around the room.
"Blessing is a divine action that gives life and whose source is the priest; protects this soul so that it stops suffering and can move away from all evil to be reborn in life." Anton walked towards Rose and subtly placed a blood cross on her forehead.
Rose closed her eyes, looked at the blood cross in Anton's hand before, and was so impressed that she couldn't say a word.
Alexander walked to the corner of the room, lighting candles one by one and illuminating the darkened room. Then, putting on a silver cross around his neck, he closed his eyes and clasped his hands.
Taking a deep breath, he began to murmur, "To You, God, Almighty Father, we humbly direct our supplications in favor of this house, of all who dwell in it, and of all that is in it. Deign to bless it, sanctify it, and enrich it with positive energy."
"I beg you to grant protection to all the people in this house. May the positive energy of the earth give each of the people facing evil today strength, and give me the strength to continue fighting all enemies; I am your warrior and will continue to be so until you call me in battle."
"Lord, with my entrance into this house, may blessing and sanctification enter as well, as you blessed the houses of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Let the angels who assisted you in the splendors of your glory dwell here and protect all its inhabitants and visitors. Through Christ our Lord, Amen."
When Alexander said this, the other two priests had blessed the surroundings of the house with incense and placed an extra barrier.
Anton then unbuttoned the buttons of his long-sleeved black shirt, revealing his two Perfect Red King tattoos. He held his rosary and asked, "Is everyone ready?"
"We are prepared!"
"Then let's begin..."
