"[Congratulations on completing the mission; you have obtained the following reward: umbrakinesis.""
Anton simply stared at the sky, the trees, and the earthy smell that surrounded him, making him feel at peace.
"Bishop Guardian, how are you?" A group of people approached after feeling that the oppression in their chests had stopped.
"Doctors, the Guardian is injured."
"I'm fine; I'll walk to the ambulance." Anton said as he was helped to stand up, showing no signs of pain.
"What are your orders, Guardian?" Yoshio, who had witnessed such a dangerous incursion, looked at Anton, who was covered in ice.
Although Anton was not overly covered in ice, there were traces of it on his clothes, so he was straightforward with his words: "Retrieve the girl's body from the well, give her a funeral with all honors, and then bless this place."
"Understood, sir!" Yoshio got to work and quickly called the special cleaning team to take care of it.
The other exorcists who had come to learn had seen how Anton had faced that evil spirit and couldn't be more surprised. It was all very astonishing, to the point that they didn't fully understand what had happened.
But they knew well that it was not the time to start asking questions, so they quickly began to place incense around, offering their own prayers.
"There are no traces of an evil aura; everything has been resolved correctly." An exorcist priest burned a white leaf, and seeing that it didn't have a black flame, he knew that there were no traces of evil in the surroundings, and indeed, the evil spirit had been eliminated.
Anton stared at the ambulance ceiling as the doctors began to treat his wounds. His gaze seemed lost because, based on everything he had seen in this world, light was not the only path.
What is sin, and what wouldn't be?
Sin is known as the voluntary transgression of divine law or one of its precepts. On the other hand, sin is seen as anything that deviates from what is right and just or fails to meet what is due.
Anton had studied that there are four forms of sin: thought, word, deed, and omission. There was a deep line that said, "[He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. Therefore, I tell you that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven."
Most of what Anton had exorcised had forgiveness after death, excluding demons that come directly from hell. So according to his observation, the girl he had illuminated had a place in heaven.
After being taken to the nearest hospital, specialized doctors from the Light Association treated Anton's wound with the utmost care in a matter of hours.
"He will be fine, Bishop Guardian. Everyone usually panics when a Guardian is injured because they think a disaster is imminent, and we will all be in danger." The doctor said this after treating Anton, who remained silent, reflecting on himself.
Anton nodded, understanding why everyone had gotten so agitated a few moments ago. "It's understandable, but we successfully eliminated the dark entity."
"I heard the information; it was a shame that there were several victims before your arrival, but it's reassuring to know that there will be no more victims." The doctor, after saying that, said goodbye as he noticed Anton's unease, deciding to leave him alone.
Being alone in the room, he looked at his right hand and murmured, "Umbrakinesis, can I control shadows now?"

Umbrakinesis is a psychic ability that involves the mental manipulation of shadows. Since shadows only exist with a certain coherence of light, this ability would be directly related to photoquinesis, or, to abbreviate, the divine energy in Anton's body.
Shadow manipulation would be achieved by emitting a repulsion field capable of inverting polarities and causing the repulsion of photons, which are the particles that make up light. This repulsion would be induced by the scattering of light. Creating an attenuating effect on ambient luminosity or even being able to deploy a cloak of darkness from nothing.
"It's a shame that using darkness costs a lot; I'll think about using it only in case of emergency." Anton murmured as he decided to rest.
