After sleeping for quite some time, Dawn finally found himself awake. His new surroundings caught him off guard, but he quickly remembered where he was and what was happening. After coming to, his mind instantly re-focused on everything that happened back in Camcourt. His mind began to replay every single event, over and over. Dawn was never the type of person to let anything bring him down, but this was different. He had never lost so many people, let alone in such a short amount of time. He had no time to mourn any of them before something else happened. Dawn wanted to cry, but there were no more tears left. He knew he shouldn't keep himself held up in his room, especially by himself, but he had no motivation to get out of the moderately comfortable bed. That is until he heard a voice speaking to him.
Dawn, if you are awake, please come to the bridge. We have topics to discuss.
The voice came from Ofrhöggr, but it sounded like Rowan's voice. He was sure that this was some sort of technology that he was not accustomed to yet, but regardless of his confusion he got out of bed before making his way to the bridge.
Rowan: "So you are awake, perfect." She spoke to Dawn as he walked into the bridge.
Off to the side of the entryway that led into the bridge there was a round table, surrounded by seats. There was some sort of projection in the middle of the table resembling a planet. Rowan sat in one of the six seats, and Dawn took the one directly across from her.
Dawn: "What is that?" He was referring to the projection.
Rowan: "This is called a hologram, and what it is showing you is the planet of Boketto. Although the hologram does not give you a fully accurate picture of the planet, it is the closest thing you will get before we actually arrive." She leaned back in her chair. "You were asleep for a while, Dawn. I'm assuming that you feel a little more rested than before?"
Dawn: "I feel better, but still tired." Not only did his voice sound tired, but he looked it as well. His eyes had bags underneath them, and his face was flushed.
Rowan: "You might not be physically tired, but I'm sure that your emotions are exhausted beyond comprehension." She had a sympathetic look on her face now. "Things will be okay." She reassured him.
Dawn: "That is what everyone says." He chuckled softly. "Thanks though. I appreciate it."
Rowan: "No problem." She then sat back up. "Now, there are a couple of things I need to talk to you about before we arrive in Tsukimi-"
Yakumo: "Don't forget to tell him about money!" She yelled from her seat in the cockpit.
Rowan: "Ah, yes. We will start with that." She then stuck her hand into her pocket, rummaging around before pulling out a coin and placing it on the table. "This is called a Solar, it is the currency used in every Coordinate except Cloven, which is the least populated Coordinate, and Kellam, where you come from." She then slid the Solar over to Dawn. "Take a look at it."
He took the Solar into his hand before inspecting it. There was a Sun on the front of the silver colored coin, and a moon on the back. Small letterings ran across both sides, but the language was foreign to Dawn.
Rowan: "That is a silver solar. There are three different types, copper, silver, and gold. Copper solars are worth the least, and gold being the most. It should not take you long to learn the basics if you just use your head, but the reason this is so important is because almost everything requires money in Tsukimi. Pickpockets are very active in the city, so you should hold onto whatever belongings you have very tightly. You can keep that Solar, but I will help you pay for whatever you need until you start making your own money."
Dawn gave her a nod, processing all of the information.
Rowan: "Next topic, The Underground. We might be an organization full of scum, but we are good people who look after our own." She pulled something else out of her pocket, this time it being the same symbol that Yakumo had on her chest, the eye. "This is the crest of The Underground, the Eye that Protects. As long as you have this crest on you, you will always have allies, that is when you receive yours of course." She then slid it over for Dawn to look at.
He took the crest into his hand, noticing that the eye had a sun in the middle of it.
Dawn: "What's the sun about?" He questioned.
Rowan: "Oh, Good observation! Boketto exists in the Ophiel Coordinate like I mentioned before, and that would mean the planet is in Gelas' domain, or the Sun God. I'm not sure what they taught you in Solart, but you should be familiar with the Origin Seven."
Dawn: "The seven creators of the universe, right?" He slid the crest back.
Rowan: "Exactly. Aena the Goddess of Creation, Taesis the God of Light, Yien the God of all that exists in the Sky-"
Yakumo: "Gelas the Sun God! He's my favorite!" She shouted.
Rowan: "Yes, Gelas the Sun God. Then you have Ihaldir, Goddess of the Moon, and my personal favorite. The last two are Sirahn the God of all Life and Creatures, and finally Dularin the God of Time. All of that familiar, Dawn?"
Dawn: "Yes, although my memory is a bit rusty." He gave an embarrassed chuckle.
Rowan: "That is okay, everything will come together in due time." She reassured him. "Now, back to what I was trying to get to before. Once we get to Tsukimi, Yakumo and I will take you to The Underground and there you will take a test that determines if you are worthy of joining or not. I have complete faith in you, and will also endorse you which should give you just enough of a boost to succeed regardless, but our leader likes to be fair and give everyone an equal chance."
Dawn: "Wait, what type of test am I taking?" He did not like the idea of test taking.
Rowan: "Do not worry, it's just a test of your physical abilities and to make sure you have a good enough head on your shoulders. You will do fine." She gave him a reassuring smile.
Yakumo: "Hey you two, you know I hate to interrupt… that's not true, but I wanted to let you guys know that we are almost there."
Rowan: "Good timing!" She stood from her seat, motioning for Dawn to follow her.
The two then walked over to the cockpit where Boketto was now visible. The planet was massive, and mostly of purple color while being accented with streaks of light blue. There was a moon off to the side that was also visible, being a solid white, and much smaller. Dawn marveled in the sight of such a planet, and it being his first time in space the experience was just that much better.
Dawn: "What is the moon called?" He asked Rowan.
Rowan: "Oh yes, that's Unah. Not much happens there due to it being a military outpost for The Epsilon Order."
Epsilon, that was a name Dawn had not heard much of, but he knew that it was important.
Dawn: "What exactly is… The Epsilon Order?" He said carefully, not wanting to strike a nerve or do something careless.
Yakumo: "Oh boy.." She retorted as Nunto hovered above her head.
Rowan: "You have a lot to learn, Dawn. Let's get to Tsukimi first, and then I will tell you everything you need to know."
